Not recommended. More economical to take a taxi to / from location. Most Island taxi companies have newer, better maintained vehicles.
We would very much appreciate it if all you disgruntled customers who have issues with other companies would refrain from posting your negative, scandalous, ambiguous and unwanted comments on our page. The driver and her husband our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Pros: 1. The music entertainment was nice. Cons: 1. Did not make it in time for the sunset, driver picked us up 15 mins. late. He did offer us another night to come back to see it for free but we had other plans the other nights. 2. Food was expensive for what you get, limited vendors and the only people there was the staff serving you and people from other resorts. It’s something you can get from your own resort evening event. 3. Went on Thursday and it was less then fifty people there.

Shirley Heights usually has a lot more people so it is possibly the time of year and the day of the week that affected the numbers. It was a cloudy day and that may also have contributed to the early disappearance of the sun. It had not yet set completely when you arrived but it was also not visible due to the clouds. We are happy that you found our guide and driver to your satisfaction. Again, please accept our apologies for your experience and please contact us anytime you return for a visit for a discounted tour of your choice.
Attentive and communicated well up to the minute of pick up. Our driver Lloyd made sure we were taken care of. They went the extra mile to make sure we had a memorable excursion

I recommend Lloyd at Sun Paradise Tours. He drove my friends and I to/from the airport, to Shirley Heights, and to Pigs in Paradise. He made our visit to Antigua in February very memorable. He was friendly and personable and he did all he could to provide us with great service. He also shared with us about places on the island as we were passing them and even stopped so we could taste some fresh, delicious Antigua Black pineapple.

We used Sun Paradise Tours for all of our transportation needs while we stayed in Antigua. Our driver Lloyd was professional, kind, and just an overall wonderful person! We used Sun Paradise Tours for our transportation to and from the airport, to and from Shirley Heights and transport to and from swimming with the pigs in paradise. Highly recommend their services!!

This is a scam. These are not your tickets to get in Shirley Heights festival. Book your ride independently and buy the tickets there.
First of all, we apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with us. However, we must point out that your booking clearly stated that tickets and meals were NOT included in the price. You received what you paid for, which is TRANSPORTATION to and from the event. We DO offer full package tours inclusive of meals and tickets, but this was NOT what you booked (please refer to your booking for confirmation). We therefore cannot be held responsible for your misinterpretation of your package as all the information is clearly available on the site. You advised persons in your review to book transportation separately as you actually did, but apparently did not realize. You also failed to mention in your review that despite the misunderstanding, all parties had a wonderful time at the venue talking and laughing with us throughout the evening. Again, while the misunderstanding was not our fault, we do apologize that you were disgruntled and thank you for your review. Enjoy the remainder of your stay in our beautiful island.
Sunday Sun Jump Up is a “must see” if you are visiting Antigua! They were diligent about sanitizing and temperature checks upon entrance. We were able to get drinks fairly easily. We didn’t eat at Shirley Heights because our meals were included at our resort. The grounds were amazing! I hadn’t realized there would be so many walking trails through the mountain peaks we could roam freely. The music was awesome! Truly a party atmosphere. And the sunset view of the Harbour was spectacular! I hadn’t expected the fashion scene given we were standing atop a mountain on a hot day. But this event is apparently a “see and be seen” night on Antigua. I hadn’t seen this deal and we took our own taxi for about $90 from COCOS on the lower west side of Antigua. This package offer seems like a pretty good deal. It took about 45 min to get there and an hour back. I was warned to watch out for the rum punch, so we stuck with beer. I’ve heard it gets pretty crowded but we found it manageable on Sunday 5/22/22. I’ve also heard there is a less popular Thursday night option. Overall, really glad we did this - was a highlight of our trip!
It was busy and the procedure wasn't clear. I went to go in but was ushered back and told to purchase a wristband for 10 dollars to gain entry. Later I went to the bbq, joined the que but told I had to go back and buy a ticket. When buying a ticket for the bbq I had to decide there and then what I wanted to eat, instead of being able to choose at the bbq. I chose chicken but this was clearly not the best choice, as it looked like it had been sitting out a while. They throw it back on the bbq to heat up then brush over some sauce (from a bucket, which looks non-appetising) I'm sure this is the Antigua way, but I would have preferred to chose my food from what I could see on the bbq. It was very unorganised but you can't dispute, this really is a phenomenal place with the best view in Antigua. Even though the food wasn't great, I did enjoy the live music and rum punch at Sunset.

Amazing experience and food magnificent. My husband and I went here in Feb 2019 just as the pandemic was taking hold in the UK, so this review is late but I felt I had to leave a review as the only one you can see does not reflect our experience. We knew it would be busy but it is such a huge area there was no problem seeing the view. The music and buzz is not to be missed if you are in the area. We hired a taxi which was prompt on returning to pick us up, others were hanging around quite a long time as they had joined an excursion The BBQ ribs were the best I have ever tasted and we will definitely be visiting when we go to Antigua next year.

Do not book with this company!! I paid for this excursion two days before the date, the driver called me the day before to confirm the 4pm pickup. The day of the event the driver called me at 3:09pm stating the place had overbooked so my reservation would not be honored!! How do you call someone less than an hour before pickup to cancel them? I was staying at the Royalton and thank God for them because they called and got me a reservation. I was there celebrating my mother’s birthday so it turned out great! Again do not book with them! Unprofessional!
We wish to apologize again for the unfortunate situation which occured and hope that you and your mother enjoyed the time spent at Shirley Heights. However it is very unfortunate that you have chosen to tell only half of the story and omit details which is customary for disgruntled customers. In light of this, you never mentioned that we tried contacting you several times unsuccessfully. When the driver was finally successful in getting ahold of you through the hotel, all this was explained to you. You also did not mention the fact that we were able to secure a reservation for you before the cancellation. Or the fact that negotiations were made to accommodate you and your mother where the driver offered to take you at 5 p.m. or 6:30p.m. Is that what you call unprofessional?! The driver even contacted you again to confirm your pick up time and was told that you were at the event. Shirley Heights is not ours to control. Every effort was made to contact you earlier before the time mentioned. We sincerely apologize for the unfortunate situation, but discouraging others and giving us that horrible rating is rather unfortunate and extreme.
