Sharing Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking And Natural Hot Spring

Our driver was very friendly and polite. He helped us organize our programs in the correct order. A very worthwhile trip with the best tour guide. Our driver picked us up at the hotel on time. We had a wonderful day with our drive. We feel satisfied and comfortable with the guide and the driver.

This was my most memorable thing about going to Bali. The view was gorgeous and our guide was amazing. They do give you a walking stick to help with the hike because it does become a bit difficult. The hike is definitely a moderate hike but there is loose gravel in parts so you need to be in shape and have hiked before. The top of the mountain is freezing. We were in pants and a light jacket and very cold, bring layers! Overall amazing view. I would 100% recommend. I mean look at my photos!!

Was an amazing experience! Our driver picked us up from seminyak at 130am and drove us to Mt batur. We hiked with a guide and another couple. Was incredible!! Even though we didn't get to see the sun rise due to clouds covering it, it was still so incredible! Worth waking up at1am!

It was a wonderful experience hiking Mount Bantur to see the sunrise. Our drivers Agus and Dedi were super friendly. Our trekking guide was lovely. We were blessed with a stunning view of the sunrise and the volcano. The hike up took us a bit more than an hour, with the majority of the trail being lose volcano sand and rocks. The hike down was a bit more difficult. The temperature up the summit was around 15c, best to wear a jacket and long pants and shoes with good grip. The hot soring was mediocre.

1. Mt Batur Sunrise Trekking I departed from Sanur at 2am, arrived around 3.30am. As soon as Depa (my driver for the day; he’s the BEST!) saw me with short sleeves, he contacted my trekking guide Katut, so he could prepare me a jacket I could borrow. I couldnt thank them more as it was freezing and windy! The sandy ground was quite challenging for me, as I have only trekked on rocky mountains. It felt like walking with two bags of sand chained to my ankles; Katut, my dearest trekking guide helped me all the way up and down. He held my hand, and with the bamboo stick he kindly showed me where to land my foot. As I was sweating cats and dogs, he kindly carried my water bottle. I was very lucky to have two gents from France as well, they knew I was a beginner; didnt mind me taking as many breaks as I needed. We arrived around 5.10, enough time to see the sunrise; and blessed with beautiful weather conditions. 2. Nature Hotsprings & Coffee Plantation A hot bath was just what I needed after the trek, however if you are from any northern Asian countries you wont find it satisfying; they were quite lukewarm(I needed boiling hot). The coffee plantation was normal, I needed coffee but what I needed more was some sleep. Anyways my way back to the hotel I fell asleep and Depa made sure I wouldnt wake up due to rough roads. Overall, AMAZING experience! But make sure you have a relaxing day before you take this experience. And hope more people meet Depa and Katut!

We had the best morning with these guys. Arka was a brilliant driver and ensured everyone was picked up and dropped off correctly. The tour guide Ketut was so helpful with the climb and couldnt do more to help with any thing we needed on the way up and down. The views are breath taking, I would highly recommend using this tour operator!

Manung was so friendly and organised an amazing day. He picked me up from my resort early in the morning and got our group to the base of the mountain for our predawn climb. Rapi our trekking guide got us up there safely and looked after us the whole time. The view was the best reward for the climb! The hot springs are a must! Manung was so friendly we booked him for a private tour of Northen Bali and he went out of his way to make sure we had a great day. His photography skills are exceptional and he really made sure we got the shots we wanted. We also hit a cheeky one of him! He was great company for the day and we highly recommend him!

Our guide, Rafi, was so good and so accommodating. I was sick and he helped me during our hike. My friends and I really enjoyed the hike and the views from the top. Guard your food from the monkeys. 😂

The whole day of adventure was so amazing. First, our driver senegall was so sweet and was right on time for the pickup. He got us coffee on our way to the trek, which i seriously needed and answered all of our questions! Gave us a play by play of how the day was going to go. Once we got to mount batur we were handed off to our guide, Nyoman, who made the trek much more fun and seriously helped us when we were laggin behind. I didn't think I would make it (I've been sick the past few days and not in the best shape), but he motivated us so much and really helped us on the steeper parts. Honestly so happy we got him :) I'm sure the other guides are great, but Nyoman is just the best. Really good at what he does! After we finished the trek we went back with senegall who was waiting patiently for us. We went to the hot springs which was very well deserved. Senegall made everything happen with ease. He knew exactly what he was doing and made our experience so enjoyable! Such a sweetheart. I willl 100% book a similar experience just so I can get Nyoman and Senegall again. Highly recommend to everyone!!

Everything worked perfectly. The guide was at the hotel excact on time. The hike started from the hotel and we were on the mountain right away. The guide was very friendly and we felt we were in very good hands. He even gave his walking stick to my wife. At the top he showed us, how to boil eggs volcano style. We got to see a fantastic sunrise , while we were eating breakfast. After breakfast we started the hike down. We asked for a break at the hotel before the hot spring and they were very flexible. They picked us up an drove us te the hot spring. All in all a fantastic trip.
