Cheap and reliable shuttle transport.

The transport ran to time. No issues. Good value Be aware of the following 1. You will change to a different bus/van on the Guatemalan side of the border 2. The tour is offered by a company listed as Belize family adventures. However the company actually organising the transport is called Belize Caving Expeditions. The phone numbers and address for the two companies is the same. 3. I booked from San Ignacio to Flores. I was picked up from my hostel and bought to the Belize Caving Expeditions office to wait for the bus (it originates in Belize city). Communication through Viator chat was good and concise.

Uncomfortable but we got there!

The positives were that the shuttle left on time, it was a safe driver and we were dropped close to our accommodation. The negatives were it was difficult to find any recognised meeting point - I asked around and eventually found the right place (at least 2 people on the list didn’t make it on to the shuttle). The bus was very uncomfortable- tiny amount of legroom, some of the seats stuck in reclined position making it even worse for some.

Xunantunich & Cave Branch River Trip

Our full day, private trip to Xunantunich and cave tubing on the Cave Branch River was incredible. Our experience at the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins was extremely informative and a great opportunity to see the Belizean Jungle! Our trip down the Cave Branch River was out of this world and a must do for anyone looking for an inland adventure while in Belize. Cisco is a phenomenal guide- the best we’ve ever had. His unbelievable knowledge of local floral and fauna, Mayan history, and local culture and his personable nature are second to none. If any travelers are birders- he is your guide! Book with Belize Family/Caving Adventures and ask for Cisco!

History and beauty in a great day trip.

Beautiful and fun day trip! We had Miguel to ourselves for whole trip. He was so friendly and such an expert. We arrived in the Mayan ruins early, which was perfect to avoid the crowds. I loved having the place to ourselves. He taught us so much. Then the cave tour was amazing. So beautiful and fun. I loved the swimming and tubing. Being inside the caves was fantastic. The lunch provided was delicious and more than enough food. Our driver was also really friendly. I highly recommend this trip!

The best tour for Xunantunich!

Francisco was an amazing tour guide! He went above and beyond teaching us about Belize, showing us cool places and giving us an amazing experience! He was very knowledgeable about the ruins and took us to a special cave to tube in where no other tourists were. Food was wonderful and overall, we had a great time!
