The Kung Fu display is not indoors atm so be prepared to sit in the hot sun to watch this. No shade and very uncomfortable. Apparently temporary but should have catered for the comfort of the visitors with shade sails etc. Otherwise very interesting place but as usual be prepared for a lot of walking.
We took this tour as we wanted to get a full experience of China…Buddhist temples, tea plantations and then a Shaolin Temple. We were not disappointed at all. The temple is so well maintained as are the grounds. So clean! We toured much of the gardens and learned so much. We also stayed for the Kung Fu demonstration which was incredible.
best of the best with Micheleour guide. the knowledge and versatile explanations were fascinating. we visited the 2 most important sites near luoyang the grottos and the shaolin monks perfect.
i watched Shaolin in my childhood. The gate , main gate is the must to visit side. Then is the kungfu show. following with the 'DOJO' the foot steps floor is amazing.
