The guide was very friendly and accommodating. Great food tasting experience and a pleasant walk afterwards
Thank you for joining our tour! We’re glad you enjoyed the food tasting experience and the pleasant walk afterwards. It’s also wonderful to hear that our guide’s friendly and accommodating support helped make the tour comfortable and enjoyable.
Unfortunately I think our tour guide might have been having a bad day. Took us to the market and walked us around the linen and cloth section and showed us the different food areas and said ok I’ll see you in an hour. Go forth and get some food. After that went for a walk along the stream and then said goodbye. Not exactly what I would call a “foodie walking tour”! Don’t bother with this one.
I have been on food tours in other cities and this one was disappointing. I felt little information was given about the dishes and the market. We just had someone to accompany us to walk around the market and, while a few dishes were suggested, it felt like much of the tour was free time, buy what you want and the guide would help you. I knew we had to pay for our own dishes but didn't feel this tour was good value. Felt it was overpriced for what you got compared to other food tours where you pay a similar amount and the guide buys you a taste of many dishes. More information about food culture could have been given.
We loved our experience with Michael. Even though some things were cancelled due to the weather, Michael still managed to give us a wonderful experience and kept our spirits high in a disappointing situation! Thankyou Michael and Licet for this experience, my daughter and I will remember it forever!
Energenic english speaking guide (Leo) and a nice walkiug food tour that included a very good Korean dinner in the Market.
The one to one guide with Edward was excellent. He was informative on the various goings on in the market which explored. His recommendations on the food side were excellent especially to a novice like me. I am very grateful for his knowledge and warmhearted nature - it made the experience more special. Thankyou Edward..
My family and I had a great time with Sky on the food tour. He was kind, funny and met the needs of the group. Not only was he informative about the market but also knowledgeable of the history of the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend him as a tour guide. He was awesome! 5 Stars!!
Unfortunately it was very disappointing. I could probably have done it myself without a guide. I was hoping for information about Korean food and little tasters along the way. We kinda walked through the market then went to a restaurant. No real advice or comments about the food or what was on offer. Other food tours elsewhere have been highlights of my trips. This was a real disappointment. I cannot recommend this tour
Yohan was fantastic and very knowledgeable also because it’s a evening activity sure gives a different perspective
No forward planning .Considering this was our first introduction to Korean and wanted to learn, the guide was asking us what we wanted. Previous Food tours in other countries, we experienced food from different areas and wide cariety and organised.. We walked through a closed section of the market all to do with fabrics , however all covered. This lasted around 10 to 15 minutes. Not relevant. The food that weeventually ate was decided of where we could get access to. Not value for money and very little variety. Guide was very polite and respectful. Description of the tour did not match what we experienced
