Once isolated from the country in the Caribbean Sea, the island was artificially joined to the western coast of the mainland in 1972 by a man-made causeway built from dirt excavated to form the Rodney Bay Marina. The coastline of St. Lucia and the sunset. Caribbean waters are also beautiful. Drinks were good but the food needs to be better. The captain and crew were great, especially Winnie. The only problem was one passenger had to smoke which was unpleasant for many. Shouldn’t be allowed. Otherwise very nice.
