Self Guided Walking Tour of Liverpool Landmarks and Legacy

Description
From the place where Liverpool's wealth flowed in at the Albert Dock to the cellar where The Beatles played nearly 300 gigs before the world caught on – this walking tour takes you through the stories Liverpool doesn’t put on postcards. Start at the Royal Albert Dock, and discover the hidden symbolism in the statues there. Walk past the Three Graces where mythical Liver Birds are said to hold the city’s fate, then into the medieval streets that made Liverpool the Second City of the Empire. Stand inside the Bombed Out Church – a roofless ruin and end at the Anglican Cathedral, Britain’s largest, designed by a 22-year-old. Available in 9 languages. Use the app’s map and photos to navigate between stops. No group to wait for, no schedule to follow – pause for a pint, replay a story, or duck into a museum whenever you like.

A really nice tour, varied and not only passes by the great sights. The explanations were spoken by a real person with a nice to hear accent.
Vielen Dank! Es freut uns sehr, dass Ihnen die abwechslungsreiche Route und die Erklärungen gefallen haben.
Really good route, lots of sights we would have missed otherwise. Made for a really good morning. Audio very clear. Shared an earphone each, so we could still discuss at the same time.
Thank you! We’re glad you enjoyed the route and discovered new sights along the way. Great to hear the audio worked well for you too.
Great idea, the pace is self determined which is great plus just the right amount of information. And you can revisitas many times. Very easy to follow.. Only complaint was whenever I went to my camera to take pics I had to sign back in again with my code. Bit frustrating.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the flexibility and found the information just right. We appreciate your note about having to sign back in and will work on improving this for a smoother experience.
