Itinerary
Starting from Madrid, we will head to Segovia, a small city that will surprise us from the moment we get off the bus. Those who have chosen the option “on your own” will be able to enjoy the city at their own pace. The guide will inform you of the meeting point and the exact time of return to Madrid, so that you can organize your time with total convenience. This option includes the entrance to the Cathedral, allowing you to visit it on your own during your stay in Segovia. For those who have chosen “with Cathedral and Alcázar” and “with Alcázar”, the guided walking tour will begin at the imposing Aqueduct of Segovia, one of the best-preserved Roman engineering works in the world, dating back more than 2,000 years. You will discover how it was built without cement and the route that the water took to reach the heart of the city.
From there, we will walk up to the Plaza Mayor, enjoying the charm of historic streets and iconic monuments such as the Casa de los Picos, with its 617 granite peaks, and the Plaza Medina del Campo, where you will find the Church of San Martín, built in 1117, and the Lozoya Tower, which you can visit at your own pace and from which you will have breathtaking views of Segovia.
Once we arrive to the Plaza Mayor we will find different monuments that will impress us, such as the Town Hall, the Juan Bravo Theatre and the Cathedral of Segovia, where those who have purchased the “with Cathedral and Alcázar” option will have a complete guided tour of its interior. At the end of the visit to the Cathedral you will have some free time to enjoy Segovia at your leisure.
At the appointed time, we will meet again at the Plaza Mayor. It will be time to head towards the Alcázar of Segovia, one of the most famous and well preserved medieval castles in the world. The Alcázar probably reminds you of some Disney castles, as its exterior architecture served as inspiration for some of Walt Disney's films, such as Cinderella's Castle or the Queen's Castle in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Mateo was amazing, would definitely recommend
The experience and trip were wonderful. It really went beyond my expectations. Mariana, our guide was excellent, very natural, and with a great sense of humor, with a lot of charisma and knowledge. Really thanks to her today I know a little more about history. Thanks Mariana!
If you go to Segovia it is MANDATORY to have MARIANA as a guide who is simply SPECTACULARRRRRR. I give this visit with her 100000 stars. GREAT!!!!! Friendly, very professional, fluent in English and Spanish. Always attentive to the group. She makes you enter a fairy tale!!! Beautiful tour THANKS MARIANA.
The tour was very nice, the guide Mariana was excellent, she explained everything very well and was very helpful at all times. 100% recommended
Really nice tour. Mariana was exelente. Very knowledgeable and good communicating. Only thing to have in mind is that the 5 hrs is not in Segovia this includes the time in the road. You barely have time to go to the bathroom. No time for survenirs. Or to eat. Some nice desserts we tried though. In general Happy with the trip
Terrible experience, it is better to travel on your own, when they offered it to us they told us there would be time for a snack (very necessary due to the heat) however the time was 10 min, in an area where waiting in line to buy water is 15 minimum, the guide Mariana gave some erroneous data about architecture and history, her attitude was terrible, she mentions that she only has 5 hours to go and return from Madrid to Segovia, however we did not even leave Madrid on time but she wants to return at the exact time. There is no attention, warmth, simply a terrible attitude for a service that is not cheap for what it offers.
Mariana was an unkind guide and did not even give us time to buy water. The place is very worth visiting, but next time I think we will do it on our own.
Everything was great! Roberto was a great guide… the only thing I would suggest is giving us time to shop… the town is adorable, wish we could have shopped alittle… maybe add to the tour.
Very disappointing tour. Our guide appeared to be bored and was not at all enthusiastic. It seemed she had memorized a script and was repeating it. The tour was English and Spanish. Very disjointed presentation, one sentence in each language. Very hard to follow. Her English was not very good. No information was provided on the bus trip out. At the end of the tour, before walking to the bus two people were missing from our group. She made no attempt to find them, took us to the bus where we waited half an hour for them to finally show up. No information was provided for the final meeting place or a way to contact her in case you got misplaced. We took a Julià tour to Toledo the day before and had the totally opposite experience.
Time was too short. Guide had to talk and walk too fast. No time to shop. Hard to keep up on cobbled streets. Enjoyed Mateo.
