Our trip was actually canceled the day before due to some of the sites being closed. Crafted offered us their trip to Salamanca and Avila instead. It was wonderful! Salamanca is a quiet town with a beautiful cathedral and university. Our guide, Andreas, had a wealth of knowledge and was able to easily switch between English and Portuguese to accommodate the 6 of us on the tour. Highly recommend
Canceled AGAIN!!!!!! This company is a total ripoff. Second tour of week cancelled. Went to Get Your Guide And saved $200. I will be writing to Trip advisor directly about this company - Crafted.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are very sorry for the disappointment caused by the cancellation of your tour and fully understand how frustrating this must have been during your limited time in Madrid. Cancellations can occasionally occur in our industry due to factors outside of our control such as weather conditions, site closures, or unexpected availability issues. While these situations are rare, they do happen from time to time, and when they do, our priority is always the safety and comfort of our guests. That said, we also want to reassure you that the quality of our tours is something our guests consistently praise. If you look through our reviews, you’ll notice that feedback about the tour experience itself is overwhelmingly positive, with no concerns about the quality or professionalism of our guides and itineraries. This makes your experience an exception, and one that we take seriously. We regret that this situation prevented you from enjoying Toledo and Segovia with us, and we sincerely hope you’ll consider giving Crafted Tours another opportunity in the future so we can provide you with the memorable and high-quality experience that so many of our guests enjoy. Warm regards, Crafted Tours
The guide was very knowledgeable and had great insight into what we saw. Also tool us to this great little village. Would highly recommend
We had a fabulous day in Segovia with Andres. We learned a lot about its history from our very knowledgeable guide. We had a very interesting walking tour of Segovia capped by a meal at an historic restaurant overlooking the aqueduct. Everything was well planned and well-timed. It was also very interesting to visit Pedraza. Andres is also an excellent driver, so we felt very comfortable. We highly recommend this tour.
Excellent tour and Andres was wonderful when some plans changed due to a holiday. Andres made sure the older people in our group were accommodated as needed.
Andres was an amazing guide! Very personable, knowledgeable, and kind. He planned out the day well, even with interruptions (we were visiting Segovia on Palm Sunday), so that the whole thing felt seamless. If you’re deciding between this and a large tour bus, I highly recommend you go with the small group. There was no need to wear earbuds to hear him speak, and we were able to get lunch at one of the famous cochinillo restaurants. We were able to get great insights into the cities, and the experience was wonderful.
Very good accompaniment of the guide They suspended my first excursion for reasons beyond their control for 9 April and They suggested for April 11, but instead of Pedraza, he went to Toledo Unbeatable excursion, I recommend it
Andres was a talented guide and a genuine good person. His insight into the castle in Segovia, the cathedral, and the aqueduct enhanced our understanding of the area. The recommended lunch of roast suckling pig was a delight. The added excursion to Pedraza was so special I kind of don’t want to share it. And not to be forgotten, the storks.
Embark on an unforgettable 5-star Trip Advisor journey with hosts that redefine excellence! Every destination they guided us to was nothing short of phenomenal. This was not just a trip; it was a collection of cherished moments that I am incredibly thankful for. Highly recommend this extraordinary experience!
An amazing tour of Segovia and Pedraza, for combining beauty with history. We start in Segovia, where we enchant the impressive Roman aqueduct and continue to the magnificent Alcazar of Segovia, which more looks like a fairy tale castle. We visited the stunning cathedral of Segovia and then went to taste the traditional roasted cochinillo, which was delicious! In the afternoon, we continue to Pedraza, a charming medieval village, where we walk through its preserved stone streets. There, Andrés, our guide, invited us to have a beer. With few people and a calm pace, this tour was the ideal way to explore two authentic and very charming places in Spain. Thank you, Andrés! You can feel how passionate you are about what you do!
