Sedona Seven Canyons Jeep Tour: Van Deren Cabin & Dry Creek Basin

Description
Take a guided 2-hour Sedona Jeep tour through Seven Canyons and Dry Creek Basin, a classic red rock route known for rugged scenery, canyon views, and Old West history. This tour follows the Vultee Arch Road area through bumpy 4x4 terrain, sandstone formations, desert landscapes, and former ranch country on the way to historic Van Deren Cabin. Your local guide shares stories about Sedona’s pioneer days, ranching history, geology, plants, wildlife, and local legends. The highlight is a stop at Van Deren Cabin, a historic homestead tucked into the red rocks and one of the most memorable photo stops on this side of Sedona. This is a great choice for travelers who want more than a paved scenic drive, but do not want an all-day tour. Expect a fun, bumpy Jeep ride, wide-open red rock views, local storytelling, and time to step out at the cabin for photos.

Vivian was a great driver and educator on our journey! We enjoyed it very much! From 7-70 year old group, she made it fun for everyone!

Great experience! Definitely worthwhile. We learned many things about the history of the area and the geology.
David our guide made our trip great. We even stayed just long enough to enjoy the sunset…. Beautiful!
Bouncy and beautiful is exactly how Seven Canyons should be. We’re glad David made it a great ride and that you caught that sunset moment. That’s a good way to end a Sedona day. Thanks for choosing Arizona Safari Jeep Tours.
Our guide, David provided a fantastic tour from start to finish. He’s knowledgeable, attentive and skilled in navigating the very rocky terrain.
Great sunset tour with our guide David who was very informative and had lots of great stories to share
Great locally owned company. It's always great to support a local business. The "jeep" is a 4X4 Safari vehicle with padded seating and useful handles to hang on to. It was spacious and comfortable. Our guide, JC, was very knowledgeable and humorous. He pointed out landmarks, discussed local history, Native American history, language, and lore, geology, archeology, geomagnetic events plus local botany and wildlife. The views and experiences were excellent. I highly recommend this company and tour.
This is my second tour with Arizona Safari jeep tours and it just as great as my first tour with them a year ago. They also take you on better trails than the other tour companies.
We’re so happy to have you back for another adventure. It means a lot that you chose to ride with us again and noticed the difference in our trails. Thanks for the great review and for exploring Sedona with Arizona Safari Jeep Tours!
