Tour Options
Itinerary
Your tour of quirky, drop-dead gorgeous Sedona begins at the town's Visitor Center/Chamber of Commerce. From here, you'll drive south, passing the biggest attractions along the way, from red rock hikes to plentiful shops and galleries. You'll also learn a ton about Sedona's long, unusual history as you drive. NOTE: The tour is over 6 miles long, with more than 14 audio stories, and takes about 2-3 hours to complete. New, Lifetime access, no expiry. Use it anytime, on any trip, as many times as you want.
The Tlaquepaque Arts Shopping Village is one of Sedona's top attractions for good reason. This vibrant plaza is packed with local artists and artisans selling all manner of unique finds. The Village is also home to some top tier restaurants and cafes to fuel up for your journey.
Cathedral Rock Trail is among the most popular hikes in Sedona, and it's easy to see why. Cathedral Rock dominates the horizon and is without a doubt the most iconic formation in Sedona. This steep, 1.2-mile trail leads directly to that formation. Adventurous visitors can even climb up the behemoth for unbeatable views.
This 3-mile trail shares its name with a famous movie filmed in Sedona. After you visit, you'll hear all about the founding of the town and how it went from an unknown, remote outpost to "Little Hollywood," a hotspot for silver screen westerns.
Sedona changed forever in 1923, when filmmaker Zane Grey arrived with a film crew and a dream. Here, Zane shot the silent film Call of the Canyon, a western about a soldier returning from war. He wanted creative freedom he couldn’t get in LA, and was captivated by Sedona’s landscape.
A must-see attraction. This jaw-dropping chapel looms dramatically over the rocky landscape and offers incredible, panoramic views from within. It was designed to generate the same sense of awe as the Empire State Building, and it absolutely delivers!
At 4 miles out and back, Marg's Draw Trail is a fantastic mid-level introduction to Sedona's red rock landscape. In the spring, this trail is also surrounded by blooming cactus flowers!
This spot offers incredible views of Courthouse Butte, one of Sedona's largest and coolest rock formations. For a closer look, you'll also find a 4-mile trail here that loops all the way around the butte. This spot also provides access to the Bell Rock Vortex, one of Sedona's high-energy sites beloved by more spiritual visitors.
Known to locals as “The Village,” this unincorporated community is another great spot to find shops, restaurants, and more. It even boasts three huge golf courses for those who like to hit the links! Your main tour concludes here, but there's plenty more to do if you choose to embark on the West Sedona bonus tour as well.
Lover's Knoll definitely earns its name. Countless lucky couples tie the knot right here, with sweeping views of Sedona's red rock landscape beyond.
Here, you'll find gorgeous hiking trails, picnic areas, and more than a few scenic vistas.
Crescent Moon Picnic Site offers spectacular views of Cathedral Rock and this is one of the most photographed views in Sedona! Depending on the season, it's also a great place for a swim.

When we used the app in Zion it was great! We tried it in Sedona, it did not follow our location , and did a bunch of repeats.
Laura, I’m glad to hear the app worked well for you in Zion, and I’m very sorry you had trouble with my Sedona GPS Driving Audio Tour. Could you let me know where the repeats happened most often? Did the same stop keep replaying, or was the narration jumping between locations? I’d really like to understand more so I can look into the issue further with my team. Please feel free to reach out anytime — I’m available daily from 9 AM–6 PM EST and happy to help.
Not as intuitive as I’d hoped. We tried one of these self-driving tours in Kauai and were somewhat satisfied so we tried this one. Narration was good but it was harder to navigate.
Nancy, I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the narration, though I’m sorry the navigation felt harder than expected. My tour is designed to be simple once set up, with GPS-triggered audio that plays automatically as you follow the route, so there’s minimal need to interact with the app while driving. I’d really like to understand more—was the difficulty during setup, following the route, or with the map itself? My team is always available to walk you through the setup and app step by step, and I’m here as well if you need help. I’m available daily from 9 AM to 6 PM EST and would be happy to assist.
We selected the audio tour for a trip through Red Rocks state park in AZ. The park was basically about walking and hiking trails. Thus the audio was useless.
Nadine, it sounds like you only took the Red Rock bonus tour and not the main Sedona tour. The bonus is focused more on the walks and trails available in that part of the park. If the audio didn’t trigger or didn’t match your route, I’d love to learn more. Please reach out with any details—I’m available daily from 9 AM to 6 PM EST and happy to assist.
Informative, easy to follow and setup. We were able to get app and tour figured out in a few minutes and it also included Red Rock State Park.
Todd, I’m really glad to hear that my Sedona GPS Driving Audio Tour was informative, easy to follow, and simple to set up. It’s great that you were able to get everything working in just a few minutes, and I’m happy you enjoyed that it also included Red Rock State Park. I truly appreciate you sharing your experience. The narration was informative. the scenery was beautiful, the traffic was terrible. Plan on taking 20-30 minutes to cross town or to get to various parking lots. We did all 3 tours on a Tuesday in late March,
Teresa, I’m really glad to hear that you found my Sedona GPS Driving Audio Tour informative and that you enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way. I also appreciate you mentioning the traffic—that’s a very helpful tip for future travelers, especially during busier times of year. It’s great that you were able to do all three tours, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback. For more Arizona adventures, check out my Ultimate Arizona Bundle. Explore the Grand Canyon, Mount Lemmon, saguaro, and red rocks. Safe travels!
Easy to Connect to. places and stories were nice. History about Senora was interesting. Not locked into time schedule was good

It’s great to hear that the history of Sedona added something meaningful to your drive, and I love that you appreciated not being locked into a schedule. This simply didn’t work out for us. Sedona crowds required flexibility and necessitated route changes. We just couldn’t use it. Also, the tour app and having to pre-download tour narratives takes lots of phone space.
Dara, thanks for sharing your experience. I’m sorry the crowds in Sedona made it tough to use the tour; busy days there really do require extra flexibility. Just to note, there are two versions of the audio tour: one starts at the north entrance and one at the south. Downloading only the route you’re using helps keep phone storage minimal, and the Red Rock State Park tour is entirely optional. One advantage of a self-guided tour is that you can enjoy it anytime, and I always recommend starting early to avoid crowds. Your tour remains valid for a whole year, so you’re welcome to revisit later. Let me know if you’d like to swap it for another tour. I’m available daily from 9 to 6 EST.
There is not enough information on the landmarks. There is some information on a few hiking trails but not anything on the mountains.
Beverly, thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I’m glad you had the chance to experience my Sedona & Red Rock State Park self-guided audio tour. I’d like to understand your experience a bit better. When you mention there wasn’t enough information on the landmarks or the mountains, was there anything specific you wished you had more details about — like certain formations, stories, geology, or cultural history? Your feedback is really helpful, and anything you share about what felt missing will help me give clearer guidance to my content team for future updates. If you’d like to chat more or need help with anything else, I’m available daily from 9–6 EST and happy to assist.
Don't book during government shutdown. It's hard to write a review looking through chain link fence.
Gordon, I appreciate you sharing this feedback. Unfortunately, during a government shutdown, access to certain parks and facilities can be restricted, which is beyond my control. My Sedona & Red Rock State Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour is valid for a full year, allowing you to return anytime the park reopens to enjoy the complete experience. If you’d like, please reach out — I’d be happy to help you with a replacement tour or provide more details for your next visit. I'm available daily from 9 to 6 EST.
Relatively easy to follow audio self-guided auto tour. We had a little difficulty with the system repeating info, but we suspect it was “operator error.”
Sea, glad you found my Sedona & Red Rock State Park Audio Tour easy to use. Thanks for mentioning the audio repeating—that’s helpful. Did it happen after pausing, restarting, or while retracing the route? Sometimes, GPS refreshes or moving back into a trigger zone cause replay. Your details will help improve the experience. I’m available daily 9-6 EST. For more Arizona adventures, check out my Ultimate Arizona Bundle. Explore the Grand Canyon, Mount Lemmon, saguaro, and red rocks. Safe travels!
