Your guide will meet you at Honolulu Beach, close to the area where Chania’s traditional tanneries once operated. After a short briefing and equipment setup, we’ll paddle along the coast, outside the famous Venetian Harbor from the sea. You’ll enjoy incredible views of the Lighthouse and Firka fortress before heading to Lazaretta Island for a refreshing swim. A brilliant experience and unique way to see Chania from the coastline. Instructions via email ahead of the trip were clear and helpful, especially due to a last minute rescheduling. No previous kayaking experience necessary, dry bags provided for valuables and thorough safety instructions at the beginning of the tour including life jackets. Pace is relaxed and includes frequent breaks to drink water and learn about the history of Chania. Our guides were knowledgeable, utmost professional and funny - keeping people informed and entertained throughout.
Haris was a wonderful guide, we had calm water and enjoyed snorkeling. Haris was fun and had good information to share, I recommend this kayaking experience.

A wonderful experience. Harris was a great guide - very entertaining and we felt safe with him looking after us. The kayaking was easy with very frequent breaks and having the rudder is a plus!

Unfortunately, the Kayaking tour for which I was scheduled was cancelled due to the weather (beautiful sunny day but the water was too rough). This is no fault of the operator and is totally understandable. The reason for the average rating however, is because I was never notified of the cancellation. I showed up at the meeting point with my taxi driver and there was no one to be found. After waiting for a while and walking up and down the beach, I sent the operator a message and my taxi driver called the operator, at which time he acknowledged that the tour was cancelled and “We must have missed sending the email to you”. He was very apologetic and offered to reschedule my tour for the following day, but I was flying out the next morning so this was not possible. My money was promptly refunded, however I am out the money I paid for taxi service to and from the meeting point. Luckily the taxi driver waited with me to make sure I was taken care of. I would suggest to anyone signing up for this or any other excursion to take the time to contact the operator a day in advance yourself to make sure everything is still set to go as planned, and not rely on the operator to notify you of issues.
Hi Christopher Thank you for your review, makes us better! We apologise again for the missed notification on our end—that shouldn't have happened, and we've tightened our process since. That said, we do have to smile a little. It was snowing the day before! While the next day turned out sunny, rough water after a storm and a gale is almost guaranteed. A quick check with us the night before would have saved you the trip and the taxi fare. We're glad the refund was smooth, and we wish we could have gotten you on the water another time. Incredible day out for all the family. Ekaterina and Harris were knowledgeable, friendly, relaxed and fun and gave the children confidence. It was the best way to experience Chania for the first time, the views were sensational and we saw shoals of gorgeous fish snorkelling at the little island we went to, which also had a rich and varied history. Would 100% recommend. On a side note, the harbour restaurant Harris recommended for lunch afterwards was world class and so cheap!
Wonderful tour if the Chania Old Town harbor, island and coastline. Weather and sea conditions in January were great- Harris updated us on weather conditions the day before and suggested adjusted our trip time to ensure we would have the best conditions. We had a great time and seeing Chania from the sea was the highlight of our trip! Thank-you Harris!

Amazing trip and kayak tour! Haris, the guide was very knowledgeable, fun, and pleasant and provided a great tour of Chania sea front and harbour Haris also provided goggles and a dry bag for personal belongings, and helped understand how sea kayaks work best if you haven't used them before For a great morning out, would definitely recommend
