Description
We propose you to embark in small committee, on board a reliable and comfortable semi-rigid, for a unique boat trip. The Escapade du Soir is a guided tour of the Basque coastline between Hendaye and Guéthary. You will discover the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the Basque cornice, the bay of Loya, the castle of Abbadia, the port of Guéthary and the cliffs of Bidart. Each of these places is rich in a historical past. A glass of wine will be offered during the outing.

The boat trip begins with crossing the fishing port then the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz which also houses the port of Socoa.

Enjoy Loya Bay, Abbadia Castle and the Two Twins.
This ancient whaling port (until the end of the 17th century) and today it has become a small marina famous for its mythical surf spots such as Parlementia and the Alcyons.
Then head to the fragile cliffs of Bidart from where you can observe the Royal Pavilion and the Château d'Ilbaritz.

The tour is by speedboat. Very sporty Don't expect a romantic walk :) It's worth it. I missed a dip

Upon arrival in the harbour of St Jean de Luz Paul suggested we head towards Hendaye. (The other option was towards Biarritz). Seeing this stretch of coastline from the water was really beautiful. The rock formations, the different villages.. everything. Paul is a very reliable boatsman with plenty to tell about all the places the boat passes. We loved how fast the boat could go :) We would for sure book again and probably a longer trip, as the two hours on the oceanboat flew by. Merci Paul!
