Tour begins from your Cruise, Hotel, Villa or Airbnb front door. Transportation is private and only our team joins us. Without traffic, it can take us 1 hour to get to Sayulita from Puerto Vallarta
San Pancho’s is Sayulita neighbor beach town. We'll visit the beach and the cultural hub, where art galleries, community projects, beach strolls, and workshops reflect the local commitment to preserving cultural heritage.
As we make our way to the lunch stop, enjoy a scenic city tour from the comfort of our air-conditioned vehicle through the heart of Sayulita — where you'll get a full view of this vibrant surf town, alive with colorful shops, charming cafés, local street vendors, and a laid-back, bohemian atmosphere. We will return on foot after lunch.
An oceanfront restaurant-bar with fresh seafood, cocktails, and amazing views and ocean breeze. Perfect for an authentic coastal menu.
Explore Sayulita on foot. 100% Optional. Relax, interact with locals shop, try different venues, visit town square and take pictures at Sayulita Iconic Letters and enjoy free time .
Return to Puerto Vallarta. Private transportation back included in the tour. Tour ends when we drop you off back at your cruise, hotel, villa or Airbnb front door. It can take us up to 1 hours to get back from Sayulita to Puerto Vallarta, depending on traffic and/or your staying-location.

No automatic RAMP on vehicle for permanent wheelchairs. Families Welcome: Infants may not sit on laps, we highly recommend bringing a personal car seat for young children. You’ll enjoy full control over the itinerary, ensuring every moment is tailored to your interests and preferences.
- We provide car seats for children and infants, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. For safety reasons, infants cannot sit on a parent’s lap during the ride. We strongly recommend using a separate, properly secured car seat to keep your little ones safe and comfortable.
- Pickups are at 9:00AM or 10:00 AM: We pick you up anywhere in or out of Bandera's Bay. Our tours generally begin at your hotel lobby or residence or choice, including cruise ship visits at P.V. terminals, or selected villas. Please note that we operate on Jalisco local time (Pacific Time Zone).
- Multilingual Guides: Our guides are fluent in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear communication and an immersive experience for all participants.
- What to Bring: Comfortable footwear and light clothing, medication (if needed), sunscreen and/or a hat, and a camera or smartphone.
- Don't Forget to Bring Cash: Either USD or MXN pesos. This helps with tips and spontaneous purchases or extra activities you may choose during the tour. Some local treasures of Sayulita and San Pancho may only accept cash.
- Restaurant and Tequila Facilities: Please be aware that the availability of restaurant and tequila facilities may vary based on current conditions, capacity, weather conditions and availability. Our day with Obi Tours was one of the absolute highlights of our week in Puerto Vallarta! We booked the private Sayulita and San Pancho tour for our group of six, and from the moment Obi and Elizabeth picked us up in their clean, comfortable, air-conditioned van, we knew we were in good hands. Throughout the day, they shared so much knowledge about Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and the places we visited. Their passion for what they do really shines through, and they made every stop interesting and enjoyable. One of our favorite surprises was a stop at a roadside fruit stand where they had arranged a tasting of several local fruits. It was such a fun experience that we never would have found on our own. The tequila tasting was another unforgettable part of the day. It was entertaining, informative, and honestly featured the best tequila we’ve ever had! We learned so much and had a great time. In Sayulita, they took us to a wonderful beachfront restaurant before giving us free time to explore the town at our own pace. We also loved visiting beautiful San Pancho. One of the most thoughtful touches was that Elizabeth took photos throughout the entire tour—both candid and posed—and shared them with us afterward at no extra charge. It allowed us to simply enjoy the day while knowing the memories were being captured. What really sets Obi Tours apart is that this didn’t feel like a typical tour. It felt like spending the day with two wonderful people who genuinely love sharing their home and culture with their guests. If we’re fortunate enough to visit Puerto Vallarta again, we’ll absolutely be booking another tour with Obi and Elizabeth. They offer several different experiences, and we can’t wait to see more of the area with them. Thank you both for making our vacation so memorable. This was a fun tour experience! The tour guides knew their Puerto Vallarta history and shared relevant stories from the the past to current times. We had a great experience with Liz! She picked us up and dropped us off from our condo near PV. We then enjoyed the road side stop to grab local candies, fruits and drinks. Then we headed to San Pancho to walk around and enjoy the town. Finally, she showed us her fav spots in Sayulita. I’d recommend the tour for anyone! Liz was super great with our kids and helpful.

We had the best time with our tour guide, Liz! She picked us up and dropped us off right at our condo outside PV. We stopped along the way to try local fruits, candies and drinks and loved the stops in San Pancho and Sayulita. She showed us the best taco stops and shared history of the area.
