It was an excellent tour with lots of interesting information. It was the right amount of time. She told us where to walk to hear the information.
If you are unfamiliar with the area and history that surrounds it, do not miss the tour hosted by Ms. Denise. Her tenure and personality were highlights!!! Great set ip for your own exploration after the tour is completed.
Could have been better. I enjoyed parts I was able to stay on track for. I would have preferred constant descriptions. If I lost track and missed a turn, I found it very difficult to get back on track. Current location dot was not always there.
Can not wait to go again. The Trip's tone was set by our Ghost night tour on first evening there. We got to see some squares and thier gory history. Next morning, we went to Port Savanna to see A/C Marriott's lobby that had interesting curated Musuem peices. Cobble / brick paths be aware of where you step. BARS LINED ONE side of the street with unique Names! Also There was a movie being filmed... Road House || saw some props and Locations! My friend who lives there says it was a pretty Quiet weekend! Lots of unique and charming shops. My favorite is the Christmas Shop. Open all year round!
Fine for walking but we needed a driving tour. We got lost in the city several times and had to retrace our "steps". Clearly this was a bad choice for us. Somehow I was charged for a second tour so I need info for a refund on that tour.
Was traveling solo. Was able to do the tour on my own pace. Once in a while I listed to some of the trolley tours and would say that I much preferred the knowledge of this self guided tour as opposed to the jokes and generalized information I heard from some tour guides.
My friend and I had a wonderful experience exploring Savannah’s Historic District with the self-guided tour via Viator! We loved being able to go at our own pace without the pressure of a group or fixed schedule. The experience was exactly as described in the reviews I read beforehand—informative, engaging, and truly enjoyable. The VoiceMap app was easy to use and impressively accurate with location tracking, guiding us seamlessly from one point of interest to the next. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys discovering a new city on their own terms.
Not very engaging, technology not as good as other apps for knowing where you are. Basically just covers the squares/monuments along Bull.
Hi there, This tour often gets excellent reviews, so I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience. Can you email more information to support@voicemap.me? This way, we can identify exactly what went wrong and process a refund if there was a technical issue. I'm sorry for your frustrating experience. Best, Helene
It was very fun and informative. We enjoyed learning some of the history of Savannah and Georgia. The audio was very helpful in locating the landmarks.
Thought this would be a driving tour around to see and hear about the homes in Savannah. It's not that at all.
Hi there, thanks you for bringing this to our attention. It seems Viator had not updated the description of this tour, we've asked them to do so now so that it clearly states that it's a walking tour. We do offer driving tours, but unfortunately none in Savannah. This is one of our most popular tours, so I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to do it. You have lifetime access to the tour, so if you want to do it at a different time, you can. If you would prefer a refund, please reach out to us at support@voicemap.me. Best, Helene
