Interesting and informative Savannah Port Tour. The two women driving the boat and providing the narrative were outstanding. They had lots of fun facts regarding the container ships we saw, as well as the docked yachts. They covered the history of the port and the businesses currently operating and businesses that had been closed down. We would definitely recommend this river tour.
The best learning experience I had in Savannah. They took the time to allow us to see how this port of Savannah operated. Questions were answered & encouraged. Explained different aspects of a port. Ride was comfortable. There was some ladies running late. Someone in their party told the staff .The staff waited on them. That was something you dont always see. Very courteous. Thank you for an excellent trip.
Tour : interesting! Something we Never see as a midwesterner! And Captain Peter was the best Savannah History guide we had! What got me were all the last second signings and i didnt even know what i was even signing! Nothing when i bought my tickets alerted me to having to sign release documents or I'd had done it prior to departure!
Captain Dan was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history Savannah and Georgia. The cranes were huge and they were loading containers.
Only a few seats had shade. Way too hot and uncomfortable to sit in full sun. You should have a covering for everyone. Our captain was good. While the boat was moving it was fine but she sat in the water too much
Tour was awesome! Our tour guide was knew a ton about the history of Savanbah and the port of Savannah! Would do it again!
Extremely informative and interesting. Captain was fantastic; knowledgeable, personable, and funny. Loved this excursion. Highly recommend.
Captain Joe was very informative and answered all the questions asked of him. He has lots of inside history and knowledge of the port, cranes and ships. The future of the port seems to be coming into its own.we will revisit when the Panama class ships start visiting. Thanks Joe!!
Experiencing the commercial aspect of a city while vacationing is equally important to me and this tour met my expectations. The weather was perfect and our guide Manon was prepped, energetic and engaging.
USCG Master Captain Peter Pearson was very informative and had great stories as well. He commanded the boat and got us up close and personal with the different ships which were very impressive! The whole experience was one in a life time if we never get back down this way! A must experience opportunity that was well worth it!
