Itinerary
The first stop of the day tour is a short visit to the old part of the small, but the charming town - Konjic. The symbol of Konjic is The Old Stone Bridge, which was connecting the banks of the Neretva river for centuries. It was since 1682. until WW2, when the German occupiers destroyed it, during the withdrawal of their troops. It was reconstructed as the original bridge in 2009 and has been on the list of national monuments of BiH since 2003. In Konjic you can enjoy a coffee or a short walk.
Our next stop is Mostar - one of the most beautiful cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar is a city of stone on stone, historical, political, scientific and cultural center of Herzegovina located in the Neretva River valley. The most famous attraction in Mostar is the Old Bridge, built-in 1566. Since 2005 it is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Above all, it’s the beating heart of the city, a strong iconic symbol of its history and one of the country’s most recognizable landmarks. We will also see the Crooked Bridge – the oldest arch bridge in Mostar. In Mostar you will find Hamam – a traditional Turkish bath.In addition, this tour will cover Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, the second biggest mosque in Mostar. Kujundžiluk – Old Bazzar, winds along a small, pretty, cobbled street, dating back to the middle of the 16th century. Therefore, you can find characteristic crafts shops and traditional restaurants in this area.
Our next destination is Blagaj – a haven of peace and natural harmony. In Blagaj you will see a Tekke – the Dervish Monastery, built around 1520. The monastery is an important monument of the early Ottoman period in Bosnia & Herzegovina. The dervishes have been using the monastery in order to perform their special rituals – Dhikr (praise to God). Blagaj Tekke is situated by the Spring of the river Buna, surrounded by beautiful mountains. In the silence of the Dervish house’s garden, cooled by the freshness of the wonderful river with the most spectacular view. Therefore, you will understand why Blagaj was the focus of interest of historical personalities, Roman nobility, Ottoman viziers and kadis, Austro-Hungarian officers and many travelers searching for the freshness of the water, the warmth of the sun, and blue sky. The lunchtime is in a great restaurant situated by the Spring of River Buna.
After Pocitelj, we arrive at our next stop – Kravice waterfalls. Kravice waterfall, located on the Trebižat River is s a mini version of Niagara Falls, hidden in the Balkans. Kravice waterfalls form a natural amphitheater 40 km southwest of the city of Mostar. For its amazing beauty and untouched nature, the state has protected it as a natural rarity. Its height is 25 meters. Moreover, Kravice waterfall is a popular swimming and picnic area.
Our next stop is Pocitelj – the stepped Ottoman-era fortress village. It is a medieval and Ottoman-Mediterranean wonder of nature and architecture, a place like no other. Cupped in a steep rocky amphitheater, it’s a warren of stairways climbing between ramshackle stone-roofed houses and pomegranate bushes. We will climg the amazing Kula (Fort of Počitelj), at 45m above sea level, which offers breathtaking views. In only one photo you will have Neretva River, impressive Hajji Alija’s mosque, the mekteb (Muslim primary school), the imaret (charitable kitchen), the medresa (Muslim high school), the Hamam (Turkish public bath), the han (public inn) and sahat-kula (clock-tower). We stopped at Potecilj, Kravice Falls and the Bridge Mostar. We also had lunch at an outstanding restaurant on the outskirts of Mostar. It was right on the river. Our guide, Ismet, is very knowledgeable about the history of the area from the fourth century on. Couldn't have asked for a better tour.

I had the most amazing experience for my transfer/tour trip from Sarajevo to Split, which definitely exceeded my expectations. There were five stops in between and each one was wonderful, such as the Old Bridge in Mostar and Historic Urban Site of Pecitelj. My tour guide, Muhammad, was very responsible, knowledgeable and took efforts to help. Though it was a long and exhausting trip, Muhammad made sure that I got to the hotel in Split before heading back to Sarajevo. Other staff members working in the office are responsive and friendly as well.

Our tour guide, Vedo, gave us an absolutely unforgettable experience. It happened just by chance to be a private tour that day, so we really got to personalize our itinerary based on what we (and Vedo!) were interested in. He was a great and safe driver, warm, knowledgeable, and HILARIOUS! We swapped many jokes the whole day. It was wonderful to have a tour guide who was so willing to share a local’s perspective on Bosnian culture and who was curious about our lives, too. Each stop along the drive was beautiful and unique, with many opportunities to get snacks, walk around, and experience Herzegovina. One of the best meals we had on our whole vacation was the burek he bought for us (!) at a little place in a random town - we never would have known to eat there if it weren’t for his knowledge. It’s definitely a long trip, but there are many opportunities to stretch your legs. We recommend bringing your swimsuit if you want to take a dip at Kravice.
Dear guest, Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear that your day with Vedo turned into such an unforgettable experience. It’s great to know that his humor, knowledge, and local perspective made the journey so personal and enjoyable — from the unique stops along the way to the hidden gem of a burek spot. 😊 We’re glad you appreciated the balance of sightseeing, culture, and relaxation, and your tip about bringing a swimsuit for Kravice is spot on! We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Vedo — he’ll be delighted. We hope to welcome you back again for more adventures in Bosnia & Herzegovina! 🌟 Best regards, Meet Bosnia Tours Team

The tour stops at all of the highlights of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The sites are incredibly beautiful. My guide was very knowledgeable, and told me about each site, and also told me about the history of the country and the regions we were driving through. He made sure I knew what to see at each site, what I should be careful about (pickpockets, slippery rocks) and gave me time to explore each site. It was a great trip, and I highly recommend it.
Dear guest, Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed visiting the highlights of Bosnia and Herzegovina and found the sites as beautiful as we do. It’s wonderful to know that your guide’s knowledge, local insights, and care for your comfort and safety made the experience even better. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to discover even more of our country’s history, culture, and natural beauty. Kind regards, Meet Bosnia Tours Team
