Sarajevo – Mostar Herzegovina Adventures Day Tour

Dear Lene, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I was truly saddened to hear that your experience on our tour did not meet your expectations. Please accept my sincere apologies that you did not feel satisfied with the service provided. I must admit, I was surprised by your review and rating, especially as no concerns were raised during the tour itself. Throughout the day, I understood that you and Trude were enjoying the journey, and I tried to ensure everything was tailored to your preferences. If at any point something was not to your liking, I would have appreciated the chance to address it immediately. I'm sorry if I did something wrong during the tour. I thought I did everything according to what you wanted, and it looked like you were having a great time. The whole tour was adjusted so that you would enjoy the trip, which is what we specialize in. After 15 years in the tourism business and (just for this summer season) more than 100 other worldwide travelers who have been with us, have confirmed that they had a great time, superb experience, and gave us a 5-star rating, which we have achieved over the years. We have never had this kind of bad rating and review from our guests, which is why I'm in shock. So let’s summarize the whole custom-adjusted trip: Adjusted pick-up time by business-class van just for two people, so that you have more space and comfort during the trip. Explaining along the way about the region, why the area is famous, and then taking you for a coffee break (which is not included in the tour, but I invited you and paid for it) to enjoy the beautiful view of Jablanica Lake. Timing was adjusted so you could avoid the hottest part of the day and travel in a climatized car to the next destination. We visited historical spots in the town of Jablanica, then a surprise panoramic viewpoint to see the whole Mostar valley. You seemed to enjoy the Fortica viewpoint and walking on the glass bridge. Then we adjusted the time for lunch and visited Blagaj Old Town, where we had lunch near the River Buna. At the moment when the waiter brought you the bill for lunch, I was talking with friends from the restaurant on the other side, and you paid for my lunch as well (which cost €10.50). As I recall, I said nicely, “Thank you for lunch,” but you never mentioned that this was a problem. I could have refunded it on the spot, which would have been fine with me, but you didn’t mention it. Afterwards, I showed you the best spot to see the Tekke House and explore the spring of the River Buna in a cave—another surprise location where you could see a natural wonder and cool off from the heat, which at that point it was 42°C. Then you and Trude said, “Are we going now for swimming at Kravice Waterfalls?” We had one more short surprise stop to see the Buna channels, and then we arrived at the waterfalls. When we arrived, the big crowds of tourists had started to leave, which was perfect timing, so you had more space for swimming. At all stops and locations, you had no time limits—you stayed as long as you wanted. Also, to avoid the burning heat along the tour, we did not go to the Old Town of Počitelj, which is exposed to direct sun the whole day. After Kravice Waterfalls, you expressed a desire to go shopping in Mostar. After providing you with basic information about the Old Town and the bridge, you had unlimited time to enjoy Old Town Mostar and shop for souvenirs. Then after shopping, we drove back to Sarajevo. On the way back, I thought you had a great time—you were chatting the whole way with your friend Trude. I never got the impression that anything was wrong, or that I had done something you were unhappy with. If you had said something, I could have fixed it or done it differently; it would not have been a problem for me at all. In over 15 years of organizing private tours, we have hosted hundreds of travelers from around the world and consistently received positive feedback. Your review was the first of its kind for us, which is why it came as such a shock. However, I fully respect your opinion, and I am very sorry that we did not meet your expectations. We continuously strive to improve, and your feedback, while difficult to hear, is valuable to us.
