Sarajevo guided tour with Bosnian coffee

Description
Anyone who has ever visited Sarajevo will remember it for a long time: the smell of fresh coffee, the singing of the muezzin, the ringing of church bells, the loud greetings of the locals, the golden light of the sunset and the flavour of freshly grilled Ćevapčići. Our city tour takes you on a short journey through time - from the Ottomans to Austro-Hungarian rule to Tito's Sarajevo and the city's recent, sad past. You will not only hear about the history of the city and visit its most important sights - you will also learn a lot about the traditions and different cultures that have shaped and continue to shape this place and learn how people live here today. Over a Bosnian coffee during the tour, you will not only learn how the iconic Bosnian drink is prepared and drunk, but you can also ask your guide personal questions.

So far I have arranged 3 private tours in my circle of friends and family with Nermin Numić v/o Numa: 2023, 2024 and the last for the time being on 06.08.2025. I took part in two guided tours myself. It is an impressive experience to see how Numa manages to appeal to a wide variety of age groups and respond to their specific needs and interests. 2 times the participants were 60+ and on 06.08.25 it was a group of 4-year-old young men. Without exception, all participants were impressed and enthusiastic about the 4-hour guided tour. It is a fine art that Numa has loosely and easily mastered, and which testifies to the love and enthusiasm for his hometown. Price/performance is correct. Highly recommended.
I booked a tour for friends visiting from out of town. I knew that they wanted to understand some of the history of Sarajevo as well as experience the incredible food. They were also traveling with young kids. Cheyf delivered on all fronts. My friends couldn’t stop raving about the tour - it got them oriented to Sarajevo geographically, historically, and gastronomically. They knew their way around downtown Sarajevo, they better understood the significant history of the city and the region, and they ate well - and knew good places to return to for food and gifts during the rest of their stay. Cheyf was also flexible with kids and their needs and whims. It was a great tour that I would not hesitate to book again and can only highly recommend.
Grbavica food tour is something really unconventional and a great way to see the real Sarajevo. During this tour, you will step out of the busy streets of the Old Town or Ferhadija, and walk through landmarks which we all might have seen on the pictures during the siege but never knew what it looks like after the city was rebuilt. It's a pleasant, unhurried stroll between the pretty quiet streets and buildings that arose at times of Yugoslavia, with several stops at where locals hang out and tourists barely reach to. Spiced up by engaging conversation and interesting facts, this tour is a what you need to look at the city in a new perspective. It personally made me establish a deeper connection with Sarajevo. Numa and Kathi are knowledgeable and open-minded and have answers to all of the questions that you might have on your mind.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Sonya! We are very happy you enjoyed the tour and we look forward to welcoming you in Sarajevo again! All the best Kathi from .Cheyf
