One of the Best Walking Tours I’ve Ever Joined

We had the chance to join the walking tour without booking in advance. We were at the square when we saw someone holding a Free Walking Tour umbrella, so we asked if we could join, and luckily we could! It was one of the best walking tours I have ever been on. Very interesting from start to finish. Our guide, Adnan, explained everything in such an easy and pleasant way that it was effortless to follow along. I didn’t get bored for a single moment. He also answered many of our questions and curiosities with patience and enthusiasm. Joining this tour was definitely a great choice. I’ve joined walking tours in other cities before, and honestly, some of them were disappointing because they didn’t reach the same level as this one. I highly recommend it!

Operator response

Sometimes the best travel experiences come from spontaneous decisions! It's especially rewarding to hear that this was one of the best walking tours you've ever taken. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back to Sarajevo someday! Warm regards,

We had the most amazing tour guided by a lovely young lady Merisa. I was there as a local Sarajevan taking a group of international students on a tour and I could not have someone better present the city than Merisa. Highly recommended!

Operator response

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your kind words and wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you and your group had such a great experience. Your recommendation means a lot to us. We hope to welcome you—and perhaps your students—on another tour in the future. Warm regards, Adnan Džebo

Informative

I had an amazing time on this free walking tour! Our guide, Adnan, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city’s history and culture. He struck the perfect balance between fun facts, deeper historical context, and personal stories that brought the place to life. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does—and it made the whole experience so enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a feel for the city with a guide who really knows his stuff. Thanks again, Adnan!

Wonderful, Comprehensive Tour of Sarajevo

We were fortunate to do this tour with the immensely erudite Adnan. Sarajevo is a city best experienced by walking and we covered the city’s history from the Ottomans to the Habsburgs and the siege of the 1990s. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting - we did it on our first day and it was very helpful for orienting ourselves.

Operator response

Free Walking Tour

We had a great tour guide (Adnan) who spoke very good English. During the tour we learned a lot about the historical and cultural elements of the city: for example, something about copper craftsmanship, the roses in Sarajevo or famous poets and thinkers. It was a good and balanced mix of everything. My personal highlight was when we went to a "workshop"/shop for copper products and were able to watch the production there. Highly recommended!
