Great tour with excellent presentation.
Benjamin, my guide, is a very resourceful young gentleman about the history of Sarajevo. Thanks to Benjamin, I learnt a lot about this place, not in the sad historical accounts, but in a positive and optimistic way. It's a great introduction to city for people being here for the first time.
We did this tour our first full day in Sarajevo and were hooked on Meet Bosnia after. This tour was a really nice way to get to know the city and to connect its centuries-old history to the places and buildings we were seeing. Great way to orient yourself and gain a deeper appreciation of and for the area.
We had the privilege of being on Ajdin's first tour. He was a young man with an interesting past as a street artist and a very bright future. It was great to hear the perspective of a young, proud Bosnian. Because he wasn't repeating the same tour speech for the 1000th time, his narrative was fresh and free-flowing. The next day, we stopped to see some of his street art before we left Sarajevo. We learned a lot and had a great experience.
Ajla was an excellent guide and it was a very interesting tour. It was well paced and I was the only person that day so it was like a private tour
Ajna was a fantastic guide, she made the tour really fun, informative and told her stories and experiences of the city. Our tour had three people and started on time she covered the history of the city as well as giving us tips and recommendations for our stay.
Our guide Alja gave us a wunderfull tour. She knew a lot. She showed us nice pleaces and recommanded diverent kind of stores.
This is a so-called free walking tour, you can participate for free and at the end you give a tip, depending on the quality of the tour. We had an excellent guide, calm in speech, very good English speaking and equipped with a lot of knowledge. We enjoyed the tour so much that we booked a bigger tour the next day where we visited the highlights of the war with a van. That tour was also very rewarding!
We made a very nice city walk with Alja. She knew a lot to tell and also had nice anecdotes. It is definitely recommended to do this tour because it made Sarajevo even more beloved for us.
Our walking tour with Ajna was an absolute delight. She knows the city inside out and shares its history with such enthusiasm that it's impossible not to get drawn in. Every stop had its own charm, and she made sure we noticed the little quirks that make each place special. We had a wonderful time and would happily recommend this tour to anyone.
