Dahshur Pyramids 40 km south of Cairo, Egypt. Importance: Key site in the development of pyramid architecture. 1. Bent Pyramid – Built by Sneferu; has a unique bent shape due to a change in angle during construction. 2. Red Pyramid – Also by Sneferu; Egypt’s first true smooth-sided pyramid. 3. Black Pyramid – Built by Amenemhat III; now mostly in ruins due to poor materials. Historical Significance: Shows the transition from step to smooth-sided pyramids.

Guide was prompt and on time. He was accommodating with our group and knowledgeable about the subject matter. Even went so far to give an explanation on the chronology of early pyramid building in the sand! Would recommend booking.

Had a solo VIP experience tour to Saqqara, Dahsur, and Memphis. Reem was my tour guide, and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. During the tour I even got to enter the Bent and Red pyramids in Dahsur, which were quite challenging to climb, but a very nice experience.

Ahmed and the driver picked us up on time-- they were both courteous. Ahmed provided all information about the places we visited and answered any questions we had. I recommend taking this tour with Ahmed as he was polite, knew his Egyptian history and made sure we were comfortable and fine. The driver didn't speak much but he was great too opening the doors for us at every stop. As a welcome gift they gave us snacks and made sure we had cold water. Lunch was good too. Thank you Ahmed-- is good to have someone you can trust while abroad.

Khloud was a wonderful guide, well spoken and interesting. She explained what we’re seeing and answered our questions. She made certain we were comfortable and well informed. Mr. Abdellah, our driver, was an expert at navigating traffic and was very gracious. He would stop as we liked so we could take pictures. This was a wonderful tour through Saqqara, Dahsor, and Memphis. Lunch was delicious, too.
