We had a lovely evening enjoying the local food and great conversation. Thank you!
My partner and I went on the food tour with our guide Tsuru. He was incredibly enthusiastic, friendly, and had a lot of local knowledge of the area. He took us to his favourite local spots, including an izakaya with all you can eat dishes and drinks. We stayed there for about an hour, and it was the perfect setting for great conversations. We also went to some outdoor food stalls across the street from Nijo market that sold delicious yakitori. Because we were a very small group, Tsuru went above and beyond by customizing the itinerary for us. At our request, he took us to Norbesa to check out anime merchandise and gaming hardware, which we loved. We ended the tour with ice cream. We had a great time there!
We had a great time with Taiga! He was an amazing tour guide and took us to some very good restaurants. Would definitely do it again!
We had a great time with Tsoru as our guide. He brought a great energy to the night. We went into some restaurants that we would have never have accessed as tourists. We learned about both Japanese and native Hokkaido cuisine as well. He was also able to adjust the tour for our kids, showing us a fun place to go for sweets that the children in the area go to as well after school. We had more than enough to eat and drink as well.
Taiga was awesome. It was only my partner and myself, we wanted to try some new things and he knew just where to take us. You be crazy not to see him and let him show u an amazing time. Taiga thank you so much for making our Sapporo trip awesome!
Tsuru was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to delicious and unique places. 10/10 highly recommend.
Tsuru was our guide for the evening. Just brilliant. The variety and quality of food was excellent. What made the tour though was Tsuru, his personality, friendliness and local knowledge of the food and city. One of the best food tours we have been on. Highly recommended.
Goo food guide was friendly was busy due to golden week had a great red beam crepe for dessert so good
A fabulous, friendly night of fun with a local who knows places a tourist would never have a HOPE of finding alone! If you are visiting Sapporo and looking for a great fun night out, tasting some unique Hokkaido foods and meeting other friendly interesting people this is the tour for you. Tiger, the host, though relatively new to guiding, was a fantastic host, and led us through a great culinary journey on a very chilly May night in Sapporo; the restaurants he chose were either up or down stair ways that led to restaurants only a local would know; the Izakaya restaurant he chose was so full of character and characters we were all laughing and joining in. Huge thank you to him and Monchan Tours who operates this tour: highly recommended!
Hello, this is Taiga. Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I truly enjoyed spending such a lovely evening with you, and your kind words make me feel very proud as a guide. It was a pleasure to share some of Sapporo’s local hidden spots with you. When you come back to Sapporo, I would love to take you to even more fun and unique places. Thank you again, and I hope to see you again someday!
What can I say about Tiger? He is now my friend. And he is a fantastic host, crafting the stops, food, and drinks to the guests’ preferences. He went above and beyond, even staying past the generous time allotment. Way more than my money’s worth on this one. You’ll be glad you did it!
