Arrival at Bayahibe and Boat Departure: Arrive at Bayahibe Port and board a speedboat or catamaran for the journey to Saona Island. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and coastline.
Pause at the Natural Pool, a shallow sandbank in the middle of the ocean, perfect for swimming and taking photos. Observe the mangroves and learn about their ecological importance. Opportunity to see marine life, including tropical fish and starfish.

Overall all a lot of travel and the actual beach stay wasn’t very long but it was an adventure and a lovely one plus the staff were very entertaining kind and enthusiastic, just be prepared for a long day.
Although there was a delay in the pickup, the rest of the day was great. A great getaway on a private beach & a fun boat ride. All of the guides were helpful and made sure we had a good time!

The day started off with the bus being late for an hour and twenty minutes. Once we got there the bus driver did not know where to find the tour guide. We were already behind on the itinerary and skipped the first stop at the natural pool. The whole trip was made worse by people constantly trying to sell us things that we didn’t want to buy.
