Begin your private Santorini wine-tasting tour with a pickup from your hotel or the closest accessible place, and enjoy a day of tasting discovery with an expert licensed wine guide. At first winery we will have at least 4 sips of different wines along with snacks for pairing. * This winery may be replaced by Anhydrous Winery
We will have a brief stop outside of Megalochori to explore the unique Santorini indigenous vines! Due to its volcanic aspa soil, Santorini can produce wine that is rich in minerals and has subtle flavor characteristics. On the island, grapes are grown in baskets that are close to the ground, which helps to retain precipitation.
Follow the winemaking process from grape harvest to wine maturation by visiting the cellars of the wine estates. At the second winery we will have 4 sips of different wines along with cheese and rusks.
The time has come to enjoy the most amazing views on a cliffside winery! Over here, we will have at least 4 sips of different wines along with snacks for pairing. This winery can be replaced by Venetsanos winery during the day tour * This winery may be replaced by Venetsanos Winery

Argyris was an amazing guide! He took us to 3 amazing wineries that all had unique and appealing qualities. Everyone in our group had a different favorite. We booked a private wine tour and we had the chance to have the greatest guide! Argyris is an amazing wine tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable about Greek wines and the wineries in Santorini. He also has a great sense of humor and made the tour very fun. He took us to three of the best wineries in Santorini: Gaia, Gavalas, and Santo Winery. At each winery, we had a private tasting and learned about the winery's history and winemaking process. Argyris was very knowledgeable about the wines and was able to answer all of our questions. He also did a great job of pairing the wines with food. We highly recommend Argyris and this tour to anyone looking for a private wine tour in Santorini. He is the best!

We took this tour as part of our bigger trip and couldn't have been happier! He was incredibly passionate about the island's history and viniculture, while also being quite friendly and funny. Honestly, this was awesome. We have a genuine interest in wine and wanted to experience the local wines, understand the varietals grown on the island, and learn about the way the grapes are grown in the harsh climate on Santorini. Our guide Argyris was brilliant, he had extensive knowledge of wine and presented the tastings at each winery. The wines were great, special mention to the Gavalas Mavrotragano which was probably our wine of the day. I highly recommend this tour - I particularly liked the option to do it later in the day, starting at 4.30pm to include the Sunset. Thanks again to Argyris for making it a special experience.

Archie's private wine tour was fantastic! My partner and I were in Santorini for two days, and our tour guide went above and beyond to assist and lead us around the wineries on the first day, then the entire island on the second! We had a fantastic day and would suggest it to anyone who enjoys wine! Gavalas winery is a MUST!
