Our private all day tour of Santorini exceeded our expectations in every way! The driver was professional, friendly, and so knowledgeable about Santorinis culture and history. He made the day effortless and completely enjoyable for us, and tailored the day to avoiding the inevitable crowds when cruise ships are in port. He took us to places we would have never found on our own and was very patient when we wanted to stop at viewpoints for pictures! First off, the van felt like a VIP lounge with Ac, WiFi (thank the gods). Alex shared architectural history, volcanic geology, and island folklore in a way that didn't feel like a lecture. All in all we learned so much while seeing Santorini's best.
Finishing up at the Monastery of Profitis Ilias at the very top was epic, you could see the whole island from there! Our guide was great, gave us enough time everywhere, and was really friendly.
