Discover Santorini’s dark sand shorelines and traditional villages on a day voyage through its Minoan unearthing´s, conventional towns, antiquated capital and former settlements. End the day at a unique family winery where you will have the chance to admire the stuning sunset of Santorini while tasting local organic products and wine varieties. This private tour will offer you the opportunity to visit the most famous Hotspot of the island, avoiding crowds and discover the hidden gems of beautiful Santorini.

Itinerary
The first destination is the scenic village of Oia, the drive takes aprox. 20 minutes. Once in Oia we will spend around 45 minutes in order to walk around the picturesque alleys, the famous blue domes and the beautiful view of Caldera.
Next stop will be at the center and the capital of the island Fira , where you can admire the beautiful view of the cliff, take amazing photos at the blue domed churches and the blossomed small trails.
We will continue our tour with a quick stop at the central square of the highest village Pyrgos, in order to admire the traditional and picturesque vibe of the place .
Our next stop is the highest place in Santorini, the area of Profitis Ilias. On the top of the hill, there is a small church of Profitis Ilias which dates back to the 18th century and its Byzantine architecture will amaze you. The panoramic view of the whole island compose a great landscape for amazing photos.
Then we will realize a short stop to the Black Beach of Santorini where you can admire the unusual view of the black sand, formed by volcanic rocks.
Red Beach of Santorini is the next stop. A unique beach with dramatic scenery that was formed by the volcanic explosions. The view of the red rocks along with the aegean sea will amaze you.
Our final destination will be in Akrotiri, where you will experience traditional organic products and gastronomy; the particular food preparation origins from the ancient years and is strictly elaborated by our collaborators. The Mediterranean homemade dishes will be accompanied by wine tasting of three special varieties from the Island. You will have the chance to enjoy them at a beautiful terrace with the breathtaking view of the sunset.

The meeting point can be arranged according to your preference. Please indicate your hotel name. - Cruise ship travelers: The majority of cruise ships in Santorini arrive at the old port which is not accessible by car . Once you reach the shore you will use the cable car to go at the center of Fira town. Amazing tour of Santorini from start to finish with Blue Waves Travel and Konstantina!! We can’t say enough how from start , their communication, personal touches, information and attentiveness to our family’s needs made this experience magical. I looked over at countless tours, knowing we didn’t want to follow the rest of the large cruise crowd to the same spots and instead wanted some authentic experiences but also to see major highlights. Somehow they made this all happen in a 1/2 day tour and still got us back in time for the Cable Car down to our ship. We had free time in Oia for shopping, a tour to the highest peak and red beaches to start. We finished with a private wine and local product tasting at a local family vineyard to watch the sunset. Amazing foods and wines from the most gracious family. Konstantina made our experience wonderful and we will definitely book with her again upon return!

This this was a great tour of Santorini! They gave us a private tour of the island. Out guide and driver were friendly, kind, and helpful, and they showed us all the hidden gems of the island! The tour included wine tasting and a meal (consisting of local tomatoes, fava beans and other local produce), which was a highlight of our trip! We also got to see the grapes being crushed and learned about the traditional winemaking process. And we bought some bottles to take home. We learned a lot about the history and culture of Santorini, and we enjoyed the spectacular views of the caldera, the volcano, and the sunset. The tour guide, Konstantina, was very knowledgeable and attentive, and she gave us plenty of tips and recommendations for our stay. The car was air-conditioned, and spacious, and the price was reasonable for the service they offered. They timed the tour so that we saw the sunset while having dinner and a glass of wine at a romantic restaurant overlooking the sea. Can't praise them enough!

When we arrived on the island we never imagined that the island would be full of hidden beauty. Our tour guide Angelo was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The most amazing experience in santorini ! We saw every nice spot on the island . We had free time to explore the amazing villages and get a lot of photos . The family winery was amazing , all the products were very tasteful and organic . The car was very nice and clean .
