Itinerary
Discover Greece’s top attraction: the village of Oia, where every corner looks like a postcard. On the northern tip of Santorini, is a true showcase of the island’s charming architecture. Walk through marble streets lined with little shops, art galleries, and cozy cafes, see the famous blue-domed churches, and enjoy amazing views of the caldera, the volcano and the deep blue Aegean Sea. Cliffside houses dot the landscape and create picture-perfect scenes at every turn. Free time for a walk, shopping and photos
Don't spend your precious time in Santorini standing in long lines! Skip the crowds with your private guide and experience the beautiful blue dome viewpoints you've seen in travel guides and all over social media. These famous churches are the most photographed spot in Greece—a postcard moment you don’t want to miss.
Reach the heart of Firostefani, home to the enchanting Three Bells Church. Access to the apex of the village presents an amazing panoramic view, stretching across the crimson cliffs from Imerovigli to Oia village, perched over the sea. Gaze upon charming whitewashed houses, historical castle ruins, and breathtaking sea views encompassing the volcano, providing a stunning backdrop for your photos.
Take in the legendary Fira to Oia trail—no need for hiking boots. Gaze across sweeping caldera cliffs and twist along volcano roads, all from the comfort of a private vehicle, while hidden viewpoints drift by your window.
A fascinating blend of past and present, where traditional cave houses meet modern design elements, all residing in perfect harmony. Venture into a 17th-century cave house and let its rich history and enchanting aura surround you.
Catch a glimpse of Pyrgos from the outskirts, with its numerous blue dome churches and white houses, embracing the highest hill, where this village is built, the prior capital, at the center of the island.
Drive to the south west coast and stop by the famous volcanic beach. Admire its unique sand embraced by red lava cliffs ending into the sea. Ancient rocks rise above emerald waters—a stunning contrast canvas for unforgettable photos.
Optional visit to prehistoric settlement of Greece, the "Pompeii of the Aegean", a 3,500-year-old village. Admission ticket 20€ is not included
Continue your journey to the east side of the island to visit the striking black-sand beach of Perissa. Here, you can indulge in a leisurely lunch, unwind, or enjoy a refreshing swim.
Optional visit to a winery. Let our knowledgeable guide take you to a unique winery, perhaps one with a stunning view or a traditional one that's a bit off the beaten path, the choice is up to you!
From Oia and caldera views to traditional villages, beaches, and optional winery or archaeological stops, this private experience is designed to make Santorini easy, scenic, and personal. Flexible to your need, if you wish to add an extra spot or skip some of the recommended below.

Absolutely fantastic Santorini half day tour. Our tour guide George was brilliant. We got a message from him the night before and on the morning of our tour explaining exactly where he would meet us after we left our cruise ship. He met us exactly on time. George showed us the sights and explained lots of interesting history and facts about Santorini. He gave us plenty of time to walk around the places whe stopped at during the tour. I would absolutely recommend this company if you want an interesting, relaxed tour of Santorini. Thanks George, You made the day a real pleasure. Richard, Clare, Lily and Rio
Nikolas was amazing! Very knowledgeable and great with kids. We were able to customize our tour and pick exactly what we wanted to see and do.
Zafeiris was an incredible guide and so full of knowledge about the island. He is a local with family ties rooted many generations back. We were really short on time in Santorini and really wanted to see as much as possible and left in love with the island. Highly recommend.
Our guide Zafeiris was incredible! He was beyond knowledgeable and provided amazing information everywhere we went. He was great with our entire family and made sure everyone was comfortable at all times. I would highly recommend him as a guide!!!
Joanna was knowledgeable, pleasant, accommodating and interesting! We loved her plan of the day, the sites, her information she shared and the beautiful picturesque spots! We had ages 1yr to 87 in our family group and shared a memorable and thoroughly enjoyed day!
Thomas was our guide, and he was absolutely AMAZING! From the moment we met him, he was kind, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our group had a wonderful experience, especially the kids, whom he kept engaged and entertained throughout the tour. Thanks to Thomas, we were able to see all the beautiful highlights of Santorini while learning so much about the island’s history, culture, and hidden gems. We highly recommend Thomas to anyone visiting Santorini he made our trip extra special!
Thomas was absolutely exceptional—basically the human equivalent of a Swiss Army knife, but with better jokes. Managing a group of 6 adults and 6 children is no small feat (it’s basically herding caffeinated cats), yet he kept everyone engaged, entertained, and moving seamlessly throughout the day. His knowledge of Santorini was incredible, and he expertly guided us to beautiful hidden gems and local spots we never would have discovered on our own—unless we accidentally fell into them. What truly set Thomas apart was his genuinely warm and kind nature, along with his professionalism (and his apparent superpower of reading minds). He intuitively tailored the tour, knowing exactly what would suit our group best at every moment—like some kind of vacation wizard. He was patient with the kids, attentive to the adults, and made every member of our group feel welcome and cared for. His ability to navigate the island efficiently while adapting the experience to such a large and diverse group was nothing short of miraculous—we’re still not sure how he did it without cloning himself. If you’re looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, personable, organized, and genuinely passionate about sharing the best of Santorini (and possibly secretly powered by espresso and magic), Thomas is the person to book. He turned a wonderful destination into an unforgettable experience for our entire family and friends group—and somehow made us all look like we had our lives together.
The tour was amazing and our tour guide, George, was the best tour guide we had during our stay in Greece. George was patient, kind, knew all the best places to visit on the island, and was extremely prompt in weaving us through the busy streets of Santorini. George is the best, Santorini is absolutely gorgeous, and we would recommend this tour and tour guide to any future visitors!
Aphrodite was absolutely first rate as a private tour provider. Excellent communication. Excellent knowledge. Found really great spots for pictures, food, sightseeing. Efficient and friendly. Felt like we used every minute of the time to get the most out of our day with Aphrodite in Santorini. Highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed. Great for groups of 2 to 6 people. Have WhatsApp downloaded to make things go as smoothly as possible. Also, Aphrodite was very open to input on whether to spend more time at shopping / beach / historical excavations / restaurants, winery, etc.—-you can customize to what fits for your group. We did shopping, restaurants and beach and for us, that was a really great fit (saw Santorini north to south, east to west and higher elevation to coastline).
From the moment I booked this tour the company was so helpful answering questions I had about everything from how to navigate the cable car system to restaurant recommendations to recommendations regarding what time to head back to our ship based on our departure time and crowds for the day. Our tour guide Kostos Pilot was friendly, prompt, excellent English, fun, great communicator, and overall just one of the nicest people we encountered in Greece! He contacted me night before the tour which was very nice as it helped us relax knowing we already made contact and would know exactly where to meet and start our day. He took so many great photos of our family and made all five of us laugh so much! He knew all the best places to visit and showed us so many things that were also less well known but equally amazing. This was our favorite day in Greece on our seven day cruise and 5 day Athens trip!
