Santorini Cooking and Tasting Experience

The entire experience was awesome. Rafael was on time, super personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the island of Santorini and the winery itself. Chef Chris was also amazing. He did a great job letting us do the cooking while guiding us and also provided tons of helpful recommendations about different ways to spice up the dishes we made. All around it was a great experience that we highly recommend.

our experience was great!! we learned so much, ate some of the best traditional greek food, the staff was very well informed and nice, and have zero complaints. would recommend to anyone visiting santorini. it is definitely something you cannot miss.

An amazing experience overall! Elsa, our tour guide with Santorini Wine Tours, was very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about Santorini with us on our way to our class. Giovanni at The Gastronomy Center, who hosted our family of four, showed us the true spirit of Greek hospitality. Each member of our family was treated with the utmost warmth and kindness. Giorgos, the chef, was patient and took his time to explain the cooking process and techniques. Enjoying our culinary creations, privately, on an open air patio nestled among the quaint village of Megalochori was the perfect ending to a lovely day! This is a not to be missed experience for food enthusiasts.

Loved our tour with Panos and Christos!! They were so knowledgeable and the food & wine were delicious. Really enjoyed learning how to cook all the dishes too!!😋

We were picked up neatly on time by Panos, our guide. Very nice, welcoming and he told very nice about the vineyards on Santorini. He knew a lot and fun to tell. The tour at Artemis winery was also led by Panos. Wonderful to walk around there. Then we went to Chef Chris. Together with him we made traditional Greek dishes. Chris also told a lot, had nice tips and and additions to the recipes. In between we tasted wine and our homemade dishes. After cooking we ended with a delicious lunch on the terrace. Of course again with good wine and our homemade dishes. A very nice experience. Panos gave us besides the explanation about the wines also some extra tips for nice places on the island. Recommended!!

Fun experience for the whole family! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was really engaging with our family. We loved it!

This was an amazing experience. Chris, our master chef, was excellent. His simple instructions made cooking unfamiliar dishes very easy. We prepared five different dishes and were able to have a tasting as we went along. We were able to sample a few different wines as we went along. Then at the end of the class, seated in the lovely garden of the winery, we were presented with a full course meal of all the wonderful dishes we had prepared plus more wine. Who could ask for anything more!!

From start to finish this was hands down the best excursion my wife and I have experienced. Nick our guide was so nice and informative not only about the local wines but the Greek culture as a whole. We strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a day of wine and cooking. Chef Chris guided us thru the 5 dishes we prepared and then we had an amazing lunch overlooking the Agean sea.
