Join us on this unique electric mountain biking experience that winds its way through the forest of beautiful sycamore trees and crosses running water that is usually present in the spring time. You’ll be able to explore the beautiful Santa Monica mountains on the most premium mountain bikes available on the market (Ducati,Husqvarna,Specialized). Riders of all levels welcome (no experience is necessary).You’ll come across views of the blue Paciifc Ocean as well as endless Mountain ranges on the way to our destination, the Nike Missile Control site. We'll make a stop to check out the iconic Nike Missle Base which was constructed during the Cold War. This adventure will give you an insider expericence of what it feels to ride amongst locals. This trail system is one the favorites among locals here in Santa Monica.

Itinerary
Meet your guide at the trailhead near the entrance of Sullivan Canyon Park located at 13571 Bayliss Road, CA, 90049. You will be equipped with a premium electric mountain bike and all the necessary protective gear. Your guide will instruct you on how to operate the bike before guiding you along the trail. The guide will customize the tour according to your experience level. You will mountain bike into the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. After a few climbs on mostly fire roads you'll encounter some amazing views of the surrounding ocean. You’ll be making a few stops along the way to take in the beauty of surrounding canyons and peak before descending back down to the start of this fun loop. A water bottle will also be provided to make sure you stay properly hydrated during the ride. You will love the electric bike because it will make climbing the steep hills feel like a breeze. You can adjust the power of the bike to how challenging you want the ride to be!

This experience was EVERYTHING! Hands down five stars. My husband and I were spending our anniversary in Santa Monica and wanted some fun. It was all new to us which is why we appreciated Jason so much! He was seriously concerned about our safety, but that never got in the way of our fun. Patient, personable, and entertaining are just a few ways to describe him. He went above and beyond from the first moment we talked until the time we left. The bikes were top tier and in great shape. The directions were clear throughout the ride and I felt confident we booked the right trip. The only issue was not having enough time to book another tour with LifeRush Adventures. But we sure will be back!
We had an amazing time. The views were gorgeous. We had so much fun riding that we decided to extend it!

During my business trip to LA, I needed some action. I found the booking and organization to be very easy. Through WhatsApp, Life Rush, the organizer, confirmed where I would meet them, so I felt safe going there. I was able to take a private tour with my own guide due to the difference in skill levels in the group. After riding up a fire lane street, we rode down some pretty nice trails. Because I bike a lot and know how bikes can look if they are used quite often, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the bikes were maintained. The damping, the breaks, and the dropper post were all excellent. Fear never entered my mind. Also, the helmet and safety gear were new and felt super comfy. Life Rush is a wonderful team of people. Definitely would go on a ride with them again.
My two boys did the Santa Monica bike ride and said it was one of the best things they ever did. The guide Chris and owner Jason were amazing. The bikes were super high quality and fun to ride, trails and scenery were great. There was good instruction about the bikes given before the ride. This was a once in a lifetime type of experience and highly recommended. Additionally, the customer service from Jason before, during and after was exceptional.
Jason is great and the ride was awesome. Highly recommended! I will definitely be doing it again. Jason tailored the ride to our skill levels. He appropriately pushed us to an experience that was fun and exciting, but never past our safe zones. Also, the views were spectacular.
What an amazing ride! First time on a mountain bike, the guide made me feel safe and also challenged me to learn and ride faster. We went on trails hidden high above the hubbub of Los Angeles, with gorgeous views of the city, mountains, and ocean... a secret paradise. This tour was so much fun!

This was the experience of a lifetime for my son and I. Our guide was a super cool and knowledgeable dude and all around great guy. We met some crazy new friends (Single week riders from Great Britain on our experience and the drone footage will be amazing. We would do this again in a heartbeat when we return to visit in the fall! Well planned and tailored to our riding experience. (With a fast rush here and there) which is why we came.
