San Sebastián is a beautiful city and has so much history. We enjoyed seeing the old town and hearing about the history of the buildings.
Our guide José Manuel was extremly knowledgeable, engaged and easy to understand. He gave us good insight in history, politics, culture and gastronomy. When we come back to San Sebastian we will definitely book José Manuel for another of his tours!
We had a great tour with Jessica. Loved doing this right at the beginning of our six days in San Sebastian because then the city made more sense moving forward. The history of this place informed everything we did later in the trip.
Beautiful tour around the city learning about the history of San Sebastián and Basque culture. Worth the time if you are in the area!
Jose gave us a detailed and comprehensive introduction to San Sebastián. Our conversations along the way were very lively especially given our interest in the history and culture of the region. He shared with us his deep knowledge of the area and was open to all our questions. Wonderful tour and would highly recommend. Thanks Jose for going beyond and for helping us stay cool during some very hot days!
tour was excellent and comprehensive. guided was great. ended in old town sampling pinxhos. she ordered for us and saved us tons of time wrestling with other tourists and locals.
Jose Manuel was a fantastic guide. We really enjoyed our 2 hour tour of the city. We are both interested in the history as much as the sights, and Jose is extremely knowledgeable about the history of San Sebastián from the early days through the Napoleonic Wars and the Civil War. He answered every question we had and the tour was more like a 2 hour conversation than a presentation. We would highly recommend using Jose
We spent an excellent few hours learning about the history of this beautiful city and the region. Jose Manuel was very knowledgeable and extremely articulate. We appreciated the recommendations for places to eat and tips to make the most of our stay. We would say that a tour with Jose Manuel is an essential part of a visit to San Sebastián.
