First bridge built in the city with historical information. Perfect place to appreciate some emblematic buildings of the city for its spectacular architecture and see how the city has been growing over the decades.
Next, we’ll glide through one of the city’s busiest and hippest neighbourhoods: Gros. Here, we’ll take time to mingle with the locals and we’ll show you where to find the best people-watching spots. At Cataluña Plaza you’ll learn about life in the city, as you’re guide talks about the cost of living in this popular local neighbourhood.
As you cycle, we’ll enjoy stunning views of the Bay of Biscay and admire the brave surfers along Zurriola beach
We wil also pass by one of the most important and controversial buildings in San Sebastián, Kursaal — boasting a glamourous history.
Emblematic building that separates the old town from the new part.
Expectacular view of the city and the ocean.
We’ll follow the contemporary Boulevard that separates the Old Town from the new part of the city and head towards La Concha beach, one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches where we’ll stop to appreciate the views. Learn why there are so many small trees in this area, and how a local legend connects San Sebastián with Japan.
The bidegorri bike path is next; we’ll follow the route along La Concha beach up to the palace of Miramar, before arriving at one of the locals’ favorite beaches in the city: Ondarreta.
Get to know the history of these beach.

From there, your San Sebastián sightseeing bike tour takes you to the end of the bay, where nature meets civilisation. Ride through districts that show the many faces of San Sebastián, from the workers’ city to the aristocratic belle époque of the past.
Follow the Urumea River back to the city centre, passing villas and bourgeois palaces.

Jake is the best. Highly recommend this tour. You will not only see a lot and learn all about San Sebastián and basque culture but you will be quite entertained as well by the charismatic and humorous Jake (from Florida). He’s a wealth of info and fun facts and makes the bike tour (from one end of the city to the other) a highlight of our visit.
A lovely , well informed bike ride around a beautiful city . I would recommend to anyone . A fantastic city
Thanks
Great way to learn about San Sebastian. Fun to get around in an e-bike, our guide knew all the little nuances.
Thaankssss.
Solid guide, solid bikes, solid info, timely, beautiful city
My advice is to do this tour as soon as you can after arriving in San Sebastián! It was a fabulous insight into the area, Basque culture and language. We got lots of tips on food, things to do and could ask questions at any time to clarify points. My sister (a slightly nervous rider) and I thoroughly enjoyed the ebike tour with Jake - the riding was on dedicated bike lanes so we felt safe, we were offered helmets (mandatory to ride in Australia with helmets), we were given clear instructions and kept up to date time wise. Jake was a fantastic guide with so much knowledge to share and he did it in an entertaining way which kept the group engaged throughout. He also managed to keep it together with several languages catered for despite the tour being advertised in English. One of the best tours we’ve done on our trip so far and very reasonably priced. The e-bikes were easy to ride and I accepted the offer a basket on mine for my backpack. It was about 10km all up and very easy riding for us two seniors! Highly recommended!
Thanks so much for your words. Very glad to read all this and greatful you took time to express your expierence.

A great thing to do as part of your trip here. Worth doing early on to get the lie of the land. Jake was a great guide
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it
My family really enjoyed our e-bike tour with Jacob. He had a wealth of knowledge about the area and its history, and clearly enjoyed being a guide. We came away from our tour with a great deal of new information and appreciation for the city, and we all agreed it was a highlight of our visit to Spain.
We are so glad to read your words about your expirience with Jacob. Thanks so much
Jake was a great tour guide and it felt like we saw and learned loads of interesting things about San Sebastián and Basque culture in particular.
