There are two hop on hop off bus companies. They start one block from each other. Watch for that but otherwise it was a great way to see the city and hear the history. Some drivers use the recording exclusively. The second driver we had gave live broadcast as we moved around which was very appreciated.
Ride the entire route first, then decide which stops to hop off. We loved all the different descriptions of the various stops. This was our first visit as a family. My teenagers liked it too !
Trip went exactly as described. Great way to get a city overview. Given a map to track location and anticipate steps
We were able to see many attractions. My daughter and I got off at The palace of Fine Art, the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf. They were great spots. It was easy to get on and off the bus. I would definitely do it again.
Awful No signage for stops Bus driver didn’t stop We didn’t get on or get our ticket scanned. No refund available. Big bus tours a much better company
Pack a sweatshirt, can get chilly. This experience was amazing! We loved being able to explore each stop or anything of interest and jump back on the bus within 30 minutes. Drivers are super friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone was so kind!
Dana was our guide and driver and he was awesome! Dana spoke very clearly and shared all kinds of great San Francisco history. We really enjoyed the tour and will definitely take it again.
Great experience- amazing way when you are short of time in San Francisco to take a good look around. Hold onto your hats, glasses etc when you are about to go over the Golden Gate Bridge!! What a ride! driver was excellent with a great commentary and sense of humour.
Very professional staff and super friendly also when travelling with a baby. Preferable to do from union square for best seats or from booking office a great tip. Also its an advisable to take the full 2 days pack plan "Explore" to get full experience. I highly recommend this for anyone planning to visit or see San Francisco - it is one of the main things to do in San Francisco. Also the staff are were friendly and ticket prices are affordable. enjoy every second of it 👍
Even though I’ve been to San Francisco before, I learned things on this tour I never knew! The guide’s commentary was detailed and personalized, and the route covered both famous sights and hidden gems. Fantastic experience.
