We throughly enjoyed our tour with Grant. He is very knowledgeable and super friendly tour guide. The ebikes we rode on were easy to operate and ate those steep hills up in no time at all. Overall I would recommend this ebike tour company to any tourist or local that is seeking a pretty extensive 4 hour tour that covers the best highlights of San Francisco.
The tour was cancelled the day before by the tour operator and I have been charged by Trip Advisor and have had no correspondence on refund.
Had a fantastic e bike tour with John today from blazing saddles o a tour around San Francisco. John was exceptionally well informed on all relevant aspects of San Francisco including the architecture and history. The big fat wheel e bikes were super and John and Mike were great guides in keeping us safe and informed throughout our tour. 10/10 for tour guide John who clearly loves his job as a guide.
I had to cancel the ride as it was very cold and I have problems with the pleura of the lung, I hope the payment will be refunded.
Unlimited Biking is the place to be for quick service, but surely for some good guide(s). We did the Santa Monica tour before, which was great, but now we know that e-biking around in San Francisco was even better, especially with our (we were only 2, so he kinda became a private) guide John. A lot of historical and economical facts spiced up our (cold & warm) windy and interesting 4 hours together. Ask for John and your tour will be more than worth any tip you could think of giving.
Unlimited Biking had the Best Guide and lots of information for us. Thank goodness for excellent bikes they supplied! They stop for short breaks. Bring your own water and a maybe a little snack.
It was a nice experience. Tour guide was awesome very informative and very friendly nice Talkative person
Highly recommended. I took the Highlights of San Francisco bike tour and opted for the e-bike. I highly recommend the tour and opting for the e-bike. The tour hits many highlights and covers a lot of ground. The tour guide John was excellent. He is a pro-tour guide. He gives interesting historical facts delivered with witty stories. For a non-native he has clearly done a lot of research as he is very familiar with the city and it’s history. Also, go for the e-bike! It allows you to pedal with power off as much as you like but gives you the electric assist on hills if you want a break. In my opinion, there is no downside to having the e-bike. Overall, I would say take this tour if you are a first time visitor and want a great overview of many of the highlights!
We did the Highlights of San Francisco tour. We showed up a good 15 minutes early but it took close to half an hour to check in and get our bikes. There was only one employee to handle the paper work, get the bikes, distribute helmets/maps/locks, answer customers questions, etc. He did the best he could and couldn’t work any faster. One suggestion would be to have two check in lines: one for those who have already pre book their tour and one for people there to rent bikes for the day. Or perhaps have two employees for the morning rush. Anyhow, not a big deal and our tour only started about 20 minutes late. Our family of four was lucky enough to be the only ones on that tour so it felt like a private tour. Our guide JP was really attentive to our needs and took real good care of us. Since one of our daughters was too young for an e-bike, we all had regular bicycles. Throughout the tour, JP constantly adapted our itinerary to avoid the steepest hills. But that doesn’t mean it was a flat ride either so you have to be prepared to do some climbing, it’s San Francisco after all. Considering we only had our legs to power us up the hills, we did pretty well through those climbs and got a good workout out of it. JP also adapted the tour for us, leaving out the sites we had already seen or were not interested in and adding a stop to see the Full House house for our daughters for example. Overall, we were very pleased with our tour and really enjoyed the experience. An excellent way to visit the city and would definitely recommend.
Well worth the investment. Our expert guide was Steve Diputado, who went above and beyond to show us the sites. It was great to have someone knowledgeable about the area and which roads work best for bike touring. Yes, you can do it alone with an app, but having an experienced, knowledgeable guide makes things so much less stressful. Certainly was "The Highlights of San Francisco Bike Tour" I am an avid rider and handled the hills on a standard bike. My wife upgraded to the e-bike and was glad she did.
