We booked as a group of four friends and splitting the costs made this paradise incredibly affordable. When you consider that the price covers the 4x4 round-trip transportation, multiple boat trips, island entrance fees, and fresh meals, it is actually much cheaper than spending a weekend at a common beach resort. Highly economical if you plan it well!
I have to say this was an amazing experience to the point I plan on going back and do the overnight tour. From pick up with Maikel to our guide and meeting / hanging out with the people of Guna Yula, my friend and I enjoyed every minute of it. Swimming in beautiful water, not so busy beaches, and a good home cooked meal, I could see myself going back more and more. The entrance fee was great (I was able to get the Panamanian rate) and the cost of items such as the dress and Molas that I bought were priced right. If you are looking for an adventure to just see beautiful culture of the Guna Yula people, enjoy some of the most amazing beaches, and just swing in a hammock in peace, this is for you. Now you have to be able to climb from pier to boat and vice versa, but other than that, just about anyone can enjoy it.

Carry the passport in a plastic bag in case water splashes in the boat; mine got a little wet, but everything was fine at the controls, haha. The tour was incredible, especially the snorkeling at the sunken dog boat.
We spent almost the entire day using the kayaks and paddle boards that are already included on the island. The water is so clear that you can see the fish from above the board. An excellent option if you like to stay active.
Snorkeling in the sunken ship and encountering a sea turtle was mystical. The Guna guides take great care of the fauna. A real ecotourism experience and very well coordinated 😍

Everything was done on time, the food was great, and the islands were beautiful. But if you have a weak stomach, the drive there can be rough on the twisty roads.
If you enjoy the underwater world, the tour to the sunken ship is a must. The water is so clear that it looks like the sky and the fish seem to be flying; we saw rays, starfish, and very colorful corals. That said, be prepared for the boat ride because when the sea gets a bit choppy, you end up soaked from head to toe. The agency was very transparent in informing us that the snorkeling equipment was standard and that the facilities on the island were minimal, so we enjoyed the adventure as it was.
I LOVED swimming in these waters, I became a fan number 1 without a doubt, I sat in a hut that was inside the water and at no time wanted to leave, it was very good temperature and there were many cute fish.
