We loved the Trolley tours, the tour guides were excellent and gave us a lot of historical references about San Antonio and tips on all the attractions and places to eat authentic tex-mex food and Texan BBQ and steak houses! We absolutely enjoy riding with all the tour guides. The experience was great and totally worth it to get around and see downtown San Antonio.
I love the Hop on Hop off trolly’s when visiting a city. I like that you have the option to get off at a stop you want to see something at or pass a stop if not interested in what that stop has to offer. Everyone has different interests! Great way to see the landmark’s of the city!
I've taken HOP ON HOP OFF in a lot of cities, US and International. This one was really good. Hostess/Driver was KAITLYN. She was very sweet and very knowledgeable about San Antonio, the history and details of San Antonio history was impressive. I was not expecting that much "history". I also didn't realize San Antonio is 4th largest population in the U.S. I rode the entire route once and then got off at the ZOO to spend the morning. Glad, it got really HOT and I went back to my hotel. Later took the River Boat tour on Riverwalk.
This was an Awesome San Antonio Texas Experience. Alfonso was full of history as he shared so much information. I appreciate the name of the stops and what's expected to check out. I'm visiting for 5 days and my main transportation is the hop on hop off bus.
Natalia, Alonso and Mo were all very personable and knowledgeable. We usually take one of these tours to decide what spots we want to check out further. This tour is perfect to check out a lot of the city!
Very nice. Good way to get around without a car. But covered waiting areas are needed. I nearly melted waiting at the Japanese Tea Garden.
Great tour with so many stops at significant tourist destinations. Drivers were excellent and very informative. When we went there was a BOGO day free so we really took full use of the experience! Trolleys were very comfortable. A must do when visiting. We would do it again.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! You’ll also find our tours in Nashville, Saint Augustine, Savannah, Key West, Boston, San Diego, and Washington DC.
If your just interested in exploring the city, the bus drops off at 13 different locations. The drop off/on location is given to you via link in your text messages the day before and has pictures where you should wait. If you want to go to Pearl District for example, jump on the bus and catch it before the last bus or its a hour walk back.
Alonso is excellent and with his knowledge and personality the tour was amazing!
Very good experience to see the city and learn about the history of San Antonio. Hop on and off to see alot of downtown.
