Tour was underwhelming. Guide did a lot of talking while we did a lot of standing. I had thought it essential to go in the dark, but that left me see very little. Not spooky at all.
Before leaving for the tour, I highly recommend checking out their store - so many cool gifts! Overalls, we had such a great time with Lee and Mr. T. Lee was well knowledgeable of history in San Antonio and gave us mini history lessons throughout the tour. He kept us engaged and entertained with spooky stories and photos. Visiting hot spots took the tour to another level, especially the cemetery. At each stop, we had the opportunity to explore on our own and take pictures to try to capture a glimpse of some spirits that roam San Antonio!
We took the bus tour today, and if you're on the fence about it... do it! Better yet spend the extra money and request Lee as your tour guide. He is hilarious, super informative, and kept everyone entertained while teaching us so much about the area. We learned a lot! A big shoutout to Mr. T, our driver, who got us everywhere safely. Everyone on our tour was fantastic, and we had an amazing time. Highly recommend it! 😊🚌
Very entertaining. Our guide Lee is knowledgeable and funny/corny. 😁 I like that. Mr. T was our driver and suggested a place for breakfast. Tony Gs It was awesome. My cousin and I went and we were 20 on the tour. All were so nice. Lee had great stories. I think it was worth the money and our time. Weather was on our side.
This was a really well done tour. We learned a lot about the dark history of San Antonio. Lady Lex was very well prepared and a great storyteller! I would have liked a few more haunted stops added, but did enjoy it very much. Yes, I would recommend it!
Was a great experience the narrator was very knowledgeable. Went to some historic places and learned a little more about san antonio it is totally worth it if you like paranormal and have fun.
Our guide Lady Lex was awesome. Tonis the driver was very smooth. The historical info was wonderful and the cemetery at twilight was the icing on the cake. Excellent event for family groups!
Dark Alley was an amazing tour guide! Loved our time together! She had great stories, fun sense of humor, and very flexible! She was sensitive to family members who were more nervous. Robert, our driver, kept folks entertained who were not feeling adventurous at the cemetery and helped them a lot. It was one of our best tours! Highly recommend the bus-super comfortable and a crazy amount of stories. Can’t recommend Dark Alley enough! Did I mention how much we enjoyed this tour? Don’t hesitate!
Fun and educational activity that even the kids can enjoy! Loved learning the history of San Antonio! Thank you Lady Lex and Enzo (I think that was our drivers name?) Wear shoes and long pants as there is a very short walk through the grass at the end.
The event is an historical tour of paranormal nature. It is not intended to see or experience the paranormal. The experience was fun and informative. PS, check in at the office, not outside the Menger hotel!
