Skip the crowded River Walk and ride into the real San Antonio. The Mural Ride is not a typical city tour. It is a moving, open-air gallery through the neighborhoods where San Antonio’s street art scene is alive and constantly evolving. You will cover more ground than any walking tour, weaving through backstreets, alleys, and hidden corners to discover over 30 murals that most visitors never find on their own. No two rides are exactly the same. Routes shift based on what is new, what is changing, and what stories need to be told. That means you get a fresh, local perspective every time. Along the way, your guide connects the art to the culture behind it, from the artists shaping the city today to the communities that inspire the work. You will also get the inside scoop on where locals actually eat, drink, and hang out. If you want a deeper, more authentic side of San Antonio, this is it.

Murals commissioned by the San Antonio Street Art Initiative. This is only PHASE 1 of the murals and we will see a few from Phase 2 and 3.
A brief history of the Pearl District and the street art makes up the area.
Our guides will take you down to the Mural room and give you the back story of the art work.
You'll discover the six murals that ate painted at Travis Park Church.
Guest will travel on the streets and pathways along the San Antonio River.
The D.R.E.A.M. (Divine, Resilient, Elevated, Artistic, Melanated) District is San Antonio’s most vibrant open-air gallery and a growing cultural landmark. Centered around Chestnut and Houston Streets, this community-powered district features large-scale murals created by artists of color, many of whom are San Antonio natives. Each wall tells a story—of resistance, of beauty, of pride—and together they reflect the creative heartbeat of the East Side. This isn’t just a destination—it’s a movement.

Highly recommend. I would not have found a lot of the street art without a very knowledgeable guide, and there was a lot! A couple of things I could have done without were the pointing out of every restaurant and bar along the way and the constant photos which my guide took both with her cell phone and her smart glasses. She made it sound like she was taking the photos for me, but I never got any of them. Weird. Also, in retrospect, I probably should have said No to the smart glasses shots. Again, the photos weren't for me apparently so it was all a bit weird. The art was cool, though, and biking through downtown was nice.

Fantastic way to see beautiful parts of San Antonio that most tourists miss. Annette did a wonderful job keep us safe and explaining the wonderful murals along the way. We even got to see a painting in progress! We will book again the next time we are in town. Thanks for a great experience with three teenage boys! Annette was even nice enough to take photos and recommend a great taco spot for lunch! 5 Stars all the way!

Had a great tour of San Antonio with Aaron. The tour was well paced with a bathroom/water break at the halfway point. Lots of cool murals and street art and cruising through cool neighborhoods. The bikes were really nice- with a moto button so you didn't have to pedal much at all if you are less athletic. Definitely recommend to do this early in your trip because I found lots of places that I want to revisit while I'm here.

I can’t recommend this e-bike tour highly enough. We have done bike tours around the world (e.g., Austin, Charleston, Buenos Aires, Melbourne) and Brian was the best ever. He gave clear riding instructions (slow down, stopping here, turning left) throughout the tour. He provided lots of history and current status of San Antonio which closely aligned with the murals throughout the city. His restaurant recommendations were spot on. Also the city is really flat and the e-bike ride was very easy, regardless of fitness level. His guidance really set us up for the great 4 days in San Antonio. Don’t hesitate to take this tour!

Our group of four had a tour with Aaron. He was great—talking about the art, the artists, San Antonio, as well as anything else we asked him! Our tour missed a few installations and didn’t go quite as far since the Fiesta parade closed some of the streets, but we didn’t mind. We saw lots of the mural art! The e-bikes were comfortable and zipped us around town without incident. Great way to see parts of the city you might not otherwise. Highly recommend!
We’re really glad y’all rolled with Aaron. Fiesta definitely likes to throw a little chaos into the mix every year, but honestly that’s part of the San Antonio experience too. We’re glad it didn’t slow y’all down and that you still got to see a ton of murals along the way. Great tour guides and commentary. Food was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The guide offered to follow up with us that same day with the names of the places we visited as well as other recommendations so that we could make the most of the rest of our week. Unfortunately, he didn’t respond for 4 days, so that was disappointing.
