The temple holds immense religious significance for Hindus as it is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama, a revered deity in Hinduism. Ram Mandir is being built to commemorate the birth of Rama at his Janmasthan. Therefore, the presiding deity of the temple is supposed to be the infant form of Rama, an avatar of Vishnu. Rama in that infant form was referred as Ram Lalla (lit. 'Child Rama') by Tulsidas.
After this visit to Hanuman Garhi. The temple is located atop a hill known as Hanuman Garhi, providing devotees with a panoramic view of Ayodhya. The presiding deity, Lord Hanuman, is worshipped here as a symbol of strength, devotion, and loyalty.
After this visit to Kanak Bhavan Temple. Dedicated to Lord Rama and his consort Sita, this temple is known for its intricate architecture and vibrant paintings. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that Queen Kaikeyi gifted this golden palace (Kanak Bhawan) to Sita as a wedding present. Later after this return back to hotel for breakfast around 09 AM.
After lunch, visit to Guptar Ghat in Ayodhya is a serene spot steeped in religious significance and historical importance. As one stands on its banks, overlooking the sacred Sarayu River, a sense of tranquility envelops the soul. Pilgrims flock here to perform rituals and offer prayers, seeking blessings and spiritual solace. According to legend, Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Vishnu, took Jal Samadhi here, ascending to his heavenly abode. The atmosphere is charged with devotion and reverence, making it a must-visit destination for seekers of divine connection and those intrigued by the rich tapestry of Indian mythology. Guptar Ghat offers a timeless journey into faith and folklore.
Walk through Ram ki Paidi and visit some famous Temples like Kale Ram or Nageshwar Nath Temple. Ram ki Paidi in Ayodhya is a serene ghat located along the banks of the holy Sarayu River. As you stroll through its ancient stone steps, the air is imbued with spiritual fervor. Devotees perform rituals, offer prayers, and take holy dips in the sacred waters. The soothing sound of the flowing river accompanies your journey, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Surrounding temples echo with chants, adding to the divine ambiance. Mr Sunil Sahani and his team of boatmen were most helpful and informative about the sights on the ride. The sunrise rowboat ride was very relaxing and spiritually uplifting. The Ganga Aarti darshan from the evening trip also covering all of Kashi's ghats was a good experience. They were punctual, boats clean and staff arranged to meet us to escort us to the boarding ghats.
We had a one day (app 7 hoyurs) trip in Varansi with a private guide. It was an amazing experience, great guide, very pleasant with excellent English and took us to the best highlight of Varanasi. Highly recommended !!! Avi
