Very beautiful day, but very long day! Departure at 0700 in the morning and return at 2000… the minibus is a bit small, not much room for legs.
The places we visited were absolutely awesome: salt flats ( Salinas Grandes), scenic mountain roads, village of Purmamarca. The drivers and the tour guide were very professional and great. On time pick up from the hotel. Loved every minute of the tour. Prepare for a long bus ride though. Long day ( pick up at 6.30 am, drop off at 7.30 pm), but absolutely worth it. No English speaking guide even though English tour was booked
The excursion allows you to visit not only the large salt pans but also the Mountain of the Seven Colors and the village of Purmamarca. Tiring day but with rich experiences and therefore I recommend it. However, I hope you are luckier than me with the guide. My guide was a gentleman, I would say not very young, who had clearly run out of enthusiasm and was therefore sparing with information, limiting himself to the minimum. I also believe that he managed the times very badly: too little at the large salt pans which are the heart of the excursion (40 minutes) and definitely too much at the village of Purmamarca (2 hours). This unbalanced the visit with respect to the entire duration of the day.
The tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. The group was very friendly we had an awesome time. It was 12 hours but didn’t felt like it.
