The nature of the Taqah Wilayat is diverse DA ES is a coastal province with beaches, plains and mountains. ES is also known for its caves, such as the Caves of Taqah and the Caves of Wadi Darbat. In addition, Taqah has two bays, Khawr Taqah and Khawr Rawri, both of which have been declared protected areas within the Alkhawr Coastal Nature Reserve by Royal Decree No. 49/97. The Wilayat also includes the springs of Ain Khawr Taqah and Ain Darbat, known for their waterfalls.
In and around the coastal town of Taqah in Oman, ES are several excellent vantage points, both on the cliffs overlooking the Arabian Sea and on elevated spots in the nearby mountains. Many of them offer exceptional views of the coast, the city and the surrounding mountains.
Adi Darbat is a stunning river valley Wadi in the Dhofar region of Oman, near the city of Salalah. Known for its remarkable contrast between barren landscapes and lush greenery, ES is a major tourist attraction during the Khareef or monsoon season.
Ayn Razat, also known as Ain Razat, is a picturesque natural spring and a popular tourist destination in the Dhofar Governorate of Oman, about 15 kilometers from the city of Salalah. ES is known for its lush greenery and tranquil atmosphere, especially during the Khareef season monsoon.
The Haffa Souk, also known as Al Husn Souk or Incense Souk, is a traditional market in Salalah, Oman, known for its cultural assets and aromatic incense. Located near Al Haffa Beach and Al Husn Palace, it is one of the oldest and most famous markets in the city.
Mughsail Beach is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the Dhofar region of Oman. It is known for its beautiful white sand, dramatic cliffs and, above all, its spectacular blowholes, from which seawater shoots high into the air.
Marneef Cave is a popular natural sea cave and rock formation near Al Mughsail beach. It is a well-known tourist attraction in the Dhofar region and famous for its picturesque views and the nearby Blowholes.

This was the best tour I’ve taken in Oman not just Salalah. If I could give it six stars, I would. The tour lasted just under eight hours, yet the time flew by because I was enjoying myself so much. My guide Ahmed was an exceptional communicator - enthusiastic, friendly and had a great sense of humour. Ahmed shared rich commentary about each sight and its history, taking the time to answer all of my questions The entire experience felt natural and effortlessly paced. I highly recommend booking this tour when visiting Salalah; it will truly exceed your expectations.
