Description
This half day city tour will show you the rich diversity of the city with lovely beaches, mosque, fruit farms and markets. The first place will be Sultan Qaboos Mosque. The next stop is Haffa Souq - a traditional market that sells perfumes, clothes, souvenirs and the famous Frankincense, at the shores of Haffa Beach, with white sand beach and coconut trees. The souq is located in Haffa Beach (the beach can be seen from the souq and not as a separate stop). The next stop is halwa tasting stop, where you can taste local Omani halwa - saffron, date, honey and nuts flavor and buy to take back home as a gift. See the farm of banana, coconut and papaya at the next stop. This place has coffee and tea shop, good place to sit and observe the farm. A small walking track is there in the farm. The last stop is Salalah Grand Mall, the largest mall in Salalah. Variety of shops for perfumes, garments and food court, cafes and departmental store for shopping. See locals and culture.

Sultan Qaboos Mosque is the largest mosque in Salalah, named after the King of Oman. This is a iconic Islamic Architecture and a must see when in Salalah
Also know as Haffa Souq, it is a traditional market which sells perfumes, clothes, souvenirs and the famous Frankincense
The beach has white sand, coconut trees and many shops besides the beach. The beach also have a old traditional market place, called Haffa Souq.
A traditional local Omani halwa shop with options to taste halwa and buy as a gift to take too home.
Coconut, Banana and Papaya farm with modern coffee shops.
This is the largest and the modern shopping mall, built with Arabic architecture. The mall has many coffee shops, restaurants, shops and departmental store. There are Shops for perfumes, garments and watches.

Booked this experience with a guide in English, we found myself and my husband alone with a bus of Poles. Picked up punctually at our hotel with a Polish guide, by bus he only continued to speak Polish even though he spoke perfect English. Arriving at the mosque we found Ahmed there who guided us inside. Then we got back in the bus and were taken to the souk and when we asked Mis Anna how long we could stay she replied to turn to Ahmed. Who just arrived with his car was sent back to the mosque because someone had left something there 🙀 So for us no explanation in English!!! Then another stop without understanding what we could do In the end Ahmed took us with His Car So Ahmed very kind person Ms Anna absolutely unprofessional

We travelled during EID so many places were closed. We did get to go to Mosque, ride by beach and ride by souk. We also rode by the palace.

Interesting tour but the mosque was closed to tourists because of Ramadan. The tomb of the prophet Ayub (Job for Christians) has puzzled us a little ... We expected something bigger! Visiting the souks and other shops allows to finalize the purchase of his souvenirs ... The Museum of Incense explains the history of this culture.
