Unforgettable Tour!

Our nighttime tour of St. Mark’s Basilica with LivTours was truly outstanding. Our guide, Nicolas, was full of knowledge, engaging, and simply the best. For our family, it felt less like a formal tour and more like having a close friend show us around one of the most beautiful places in Venice. The private nighttime experience was absolutely worth it. The basilica was not crowded, and we were able to walk around pleasantly and quietly, taking in the beauty of the church without feeling rushed. Seeing St. Mark’s lit up at night was spectacular, and the opportunity to see the Pala d’Oro was an unforgettable bonus. We are so happy we chose this tour over others. It was one of the highlights of our time in Venice, and we would highly recommend it.

Breathtaking Small Group Tour of St Mark’s Basilica

Brankica was an AMAZING tour guide and made this tour one of the best we’ve had! She was so informative and shared stories we would never had known touring on our own! We had day tickets a couple days before that included the museum and Pala d’Oro and was great to meander on our own but the crowds were insane and we walked right past some of the details Brankica pointed out on the night tour and she was able to take us to parts of the church that were roped off to the public, including St Peter’s Chapel and the Crypt which was fascinating. Yes, it’s expensive and YES it’s worth every dollar!! Thank you for offering such a special tour! Teresa & Chad

St Marks at Night

We did the Night Tour of St Marks and it was wonderful to have the freedom and time to view this amazing cathedral without the crowds. Our tour guide, Romy, gave us some great knowledge about the history and importance of this building.

Fantastic Tour - a must-do

Fantastic is a word that is often overused, but there is no other word I can come up with that describes this tour any better. The splendor that unfolds as the lights come up is just indescribable. Ottavia was a wealth of information and did a beautiful job of making the tour both educational AND entertaining. If you can request a guide, you won’t be disappointed by asking for her! We were so glad we did not miss this tour!

Much better without the crowds!

Was worth the extra price to get access after closing. You’re not alone in the cathedral, but compared to the number packed in during the day, it almost feels like it. The experience starts in near darkness, and then they light all of the lights, and the effect is lovely. Marco provided a lit of context for what we were seeing, and really brought the history to life for us. Highly recommend this experience!

Splendour and fun

Adriana was exceptional. Hilarious and knowledgeable. The night tour was spectacular, dazzling...the show of wealth made me question the priorities of the church but the incredible workmanship of the builders, tilers, artists and architects is undeniable. This tour is, I feel, not to be missed.
