My husband and friends did this tour. The guide who referred to himself as “brown sugar” was our guide for the day. Initially, everything was going well and we found him funny and knowledgeable. He often knew the answers to many of our questions about Belize and the area. The cave and inland blue hole was beautiful. The guide went as far to point out various plants as we walked to the inland blue hole. However, we also had some concerns about the guides behavior. First, he was often impatient as he sped through traffic and construction areas, and honked his horn. Secondly, he often referred to lower/poor areas as the hood and ghetto. Even when we expressed our dislike for the term, he continued to make the statement. Lastly, towards the end of the tour it felt like he was trying to scam us. He mentioned that if we were hungry, he knew a place. He quoted a cost of $10 usd each and included a drink. The guide stated he would run in to get the food while we waited or visited the fruit market. When we mentioned going with him to grab the food, he seemed annoyed. When we arrived at the food place, he walked quickly and tried to leave us. Then he started whispering to the woman and loudly stating the price is $10. However, the woman clarified that the price was $5 with no drink. The guide realizing we caught him, mentioned several times while in the car that we were given a discount because of him. Which was untrue because initially stated the $10 was a discount. We think he was planning on pocketing the difference. He also dropped us off early under the premise that we were going to miss the ferry. When we served at the ferry port and looked at the schedule, we realized he just wanted to finish early.
Dennis was our tour guide and truly helped make the trip memorable. Very informative throughout. Cannot recommend high enough.
Very fun experience but more time spent in a car then on site. Would recommend combining either with cave tubing or belize zoo visit.
Great experience! Our tour guide, Mr. Brown was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our tour. We got to see exactly what hat we wanted to see. Thanks!
Fredd was a fabulous guide, very patient and knowledgeable. We took our 10 month old to the cave and the blue hole for swimming
We had an amazing time! Brown sugar was the best tour guide! He made sure we made it safely through the cave. He pointed out points of interest and explained the different flora and fauna along the way. And picked the absolute best one stop! Highly recommend!
We had a lovely time hiking with Fred, who was both funny and knowledgeable. The hike inside the cave is must do when you are in Belize, it was great. We highly recommend. A little tip, do all your tours in land before heading out to the islands, tours are much cheaper inland.
Loved this tour. Dennis was an awesome guide and made us feel at home. Traveled with a 16 month old and it was perfect. Don't forget your bug spray!

Nelson showed us a great time at the cave!! He was wonderful to talk to and welcomed all of our questions. The hike was wonderful and swimming in the Blue Hole so refreshing! Thank you so much!!
