Itinerary
The construction of the Sagrada Familia started in 1882, under architect Francisco de Paula del Villar. In 1883, when Villar resigned, Antoni Gaudí took over as chief architect, transforming the project with his architectural and engineering style, combining Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms. Gaudí devoted the remainder of his life to the project, and he is buried in the crypt. At the time of his death in 1926, when he was run down by a streetcar, less than a quarter of the project was complete. The Basilica is still unfinished, but construction passed the midpoint in 2010 and it is expected to be finished by 2026 - the centenary of Gaudi's death. Join this amazing tour to discover the secrets, obstacles, and stories around this extraordinary church, which is considered the most personal interpretation of Gothic architecture since the Middle Ages. Feel free to visit the Museum of the construction of the temple after the tour.

Me and my family enjoyed seeing this beautiful Cathedral in person! It was massive and a beautiful piece of history! The exterior truly defied physics and the interior was gorgeous! We only wished that people would respect the space and be quiet so that you could properly meditate!
Tour guide was friendly and so knowledgeable. We saw Sagrada Família in a totally new light. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Barcelona.
Our tour guide Raul was amazing! He knew so much history and answered everyone's questions. He was also funny and gave us good tips about what to explore after the tour ended. A tour is well worth it because the Basilica has so much history and interesting architecture that you would miss without a guide.
Easy meet up, great arch and historical context, guide was very knowledgeable, spent about half of time on outside and remaining on inside. Had open free time at end to explore after the tour.
Had a great tour with Juan Miguel. He was very knowledgeable and professional, gave great insights into the Basilica and how it is still hasn't ben finished. Meeting point was easy to find. Excellent tour and a great way to see and learn about the Basilica. Highly recommend.
I had a fantastic experience at the Sagrada Família! Our local guide, Raoul, was absolutely incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and shared so many fascinating insights. Beyond his expertise, his fun, entertaining, and captivating personality kept us engaged the entire time. He truly made the tour memorable. Highly recommen
The Socratic method is fine when you were supposed to have read a chapter before class but not on a tour when you are there to learn.
Despite the dress code info, many were wearing shorts and had uncovered shoulders. Definitely bring water and/or a fan in the summer. Juan Miguel was the best!
Raúl was funny, calm and knowledgeable. I would recommend him for your tours…………………………………………………………..
