Marta was very good in explaining the history of the building of the Sagrada Familia and the symbolism of Gaudi and how he incorporated nature, the forest, sea and animals. The exterior is like none we have ever seen- beautiful! Definitely a must see when visiting Barcelona. Will do a second visit when we return to Barcelona for a more detailed history. Highly recommend requesting Marta for a tour.
Ester was a very knowledgeable and considerate tour guide. We appreciated her helping my son get a wheelchair and also answering all of our questions. I would recommend her tour!
The Família Segrada was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Ester was knowledgeable, intelligent, informative and helpful. She was intentional on how we experienced the Basilica. The one word I would use is Wow! The historical and spiritual significance of the Segarda Família was profound.
Sofia was a. Great guide. Very knowledgable , small group ! Highly recommended

This is a must do in Barcelona, it was the high of our visit !! Our guide was great ! Loved this tour , Sagrada is Beautiful ❤️
I received a notification from TripAdvisor the night before that the Tour was cancelled. We went anyway to try if we can still get in with the electronic tickets emailed to us few days before. I figured as long as we can get in even without a guide it wouldn’t be a total loss. We’re denied access. Lots of tours happening but ours was no show. No explanation other than “operational issues”. We weren’t able to enter the Sagrada Família. Our limited time there prevented us from rescheduling another day because tickets are all sold out many days in advance. Trip to Barcelona was planned around that tour so trip was ruined. How can such business like “Local CoolTour” exist ripping off people and TripAdvisor promoting them is beyond me. Yes they offer refund, which I still have to receive, but the entire trip was ruined and there is no price for that. What can TripAdvisor do about such eventualities?
Thank you for your feedback. We fully understand your disappointment and sincerely apologize for the situation. Local CoolTour has successfully operated hundreds of tours and maintains excellent reviews from guests across many destinations. Unfortunately, on this occasion, an unexpected issue related to Sagrada Familia operations prevented us from delivering the experience as planned. As soon as we became aware of the problem, we informed guests and processed the corresponding refund. We understand that this was especially frustrating given your limited time in Barcelona, and we truly regret the inconvenience caused. While this was an exceptional situation, it does not reflect the level of service we strive to provide every day.
Our guide Sofia was wonderful. She knew so much about the Basílica. Sofia was a fountain of knowledge. We went on the end of the day tour and the light shining through the windows was heavenly. None like you have ever seen.
