  • We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines
  • All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security
  • As it is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately, is requested for entrance to the Sagrada Familia Basilica. No tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals will be accepted. Also Visitors will not be allowed to enter with special clothing to celebrate any sort of festivities.
  • Please, be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure time
  • Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.
  • The Sagrada Familia kindly requests that visitors refrain from wearing or displaying any religious symbols upon entry. Please note that failure to comply may result in denial of entry.

The place is amazing. Tour itself slightly underwhelming

I was slightly underwhelmed by the tour. Said it was 90min. It was exactly 60min including approx 20min getting through security. The group was also not 'small'. Maybe 20-30 people. Guide was knowledgeable but just felt it was missold.

Sagrada Familia

Was excellently guided. The guide really explained the meaning and significance of all the stone sculpting on the church. Well worth doing it as a guided tour. The Julia Travel company office who actually provided the tour were a bit disorganized at the start in deciding who was in which of the 2 groups and so we, the paying customers, were held up in a hot crowded office while they messed about.

Easy tour with fun and knowledgeable guide!

Our tour guide was fantastic, he was a wealth of so much knowledge about everything anyone asked. We were very impressed with the guide and the tour and had a wonderful time. We went at 9:00 am tour on a Monday. We did not wait long and it was busy but not overwhelming.

La Sagrada Família ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Txell our guide was absolutely amazing and helped us to understand so much about the architecture and history of La Sagrada Família. An overall really positive experience. Really well priced and amazing value for money. The tower visit was amazing and we stayed for just over 2 hours. A really good crowd size with lots of people to interact with and a very interesting and informative atmosphere. This was in our opinion the best thing to do in Barcelona and Txell was amazing at keeping the group together. This was the best!

Wonderful Experience!

Pilar (Maria) from Julia Tours did an excellent job leading our Sagrada Família tour. She thoughtfully explained Gaudí's inspiration from nature, and how Sagrada Família's design incorporates elements of the Bible, scripture, and the human experience. Her insights truly enhanced the visit and left me deeply moved by the beauty and meaning behind the architecture. Pilar was friendly, approachable, and happy to answer questions throughout the tour. She shared historical photographs of the Sagrada Família and discussed Gaudí's life and legacy. I was especially impressed by her ability to manage a group of 20 while maintaining such passion, knowledge, and care. Thank you from Canada! Highly recommended!
