It was our understanding that the tour would be in English and it was in Spanish and English and at times Portuguese. That added considerably to the length of the tour. At times it was also a bit difficult to understand the guide.
This tour was really interesting and gave a great overview of the city and its history. Much of the script in the museums etc was only in Portuguese, so having an English speaking guide was very helpful. Our guide Roberto’s English was exceptional.
We had an amazing afternoon in São Paulo’s historic city centre with Roberto. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative, and we were so grateful to have him showing us around. We learnt so much about Brazil’s history and how it has shaped São Paulo today. Roberto also helped us with ideas and plans for the rest of our trip. Thank you, Roberto!
This is a walking tour at leisurely pace filled with winderful.knowledge from Roberto my guide. He is a wonderful man with a joke and a laugh always ready. I could've gone 3 MORE hours and still Roberto would keep me informed and he adapts quite easy to your individual interest. He pointed several.spots to visit after the tour, which was handy My love(which was low) for Sao Paulo is restored after our morning walk Thank you Roberto!
Exceeded expectations by a lot! Roberto had fantastic deep knowledge about local and world history, culture, architecture, geography, etc. A serious tour.

Having just done the most amazing 3hr walking tour in Sao Paulo with Roberto C Mayer He is such a polite, considerate man with a wealth of knowledge, shared interesting facts and a lovely way about him. We covered a big area and I never felt rushed at all. Gives you a overall feel of the city. I would recommend this tour!! Thank you for a memorable day! Jean, Cape Town, South Africa
This is our first time in São Paulo and this was a great tour! We met Roberto in the city center and got to explore many of the main historical buildings. He has a vast knowledge of São Paulo’s history and Brazil. It was fascinating to hear him speak and share his insights. Pro tip- wear comfortable shoes you will be walking around the city center.
Very nice and organized walking tour of the center city. I doubt that we could have done this exploration by ourselves.
