Thank you again for riding with us and for taking the time to share your experience. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure the next time you visit Bryce Canyon!
We did the 6 hour tour through Red Canyon and Loosee Canyon with B who was fantastic and took us to Butch Cassidy's hideout. Horses fantastic. Scenery unbelievable. Edan and Kevin Wilson Queensland Australia
Dear Edan and Kevin, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with our Full Day Ruby’s Ride! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed exploring Red Canyon and Losee Canyon, and that visiting Butch Cassidy’s hideout was such a highlight. B will be thrilled to know that her guiding made your adventure even more memorable. It’s wonderful to know you connected with your horses and took in the incredible scenery—this area is truly special, and we love helping our guests experience it. We hope to welcome you back on another ride the next time your travels bring you to Bryce Canyon! Warm regards, Andrea Greger Manager Ruby’s Horseback Adventures
Very nice hiking horses super beautiful and very well trained we had a great time and our guide super nice
Kevin was great, took tons of pictures for us and air dropped them to us at the end of the ride. The horses were awesome and very friendly. The views were fantastic and there were parts that were scary narrow and steep both up and down. Would do again, but in a shorter ride b/c we are all sore. 1 stop about halfway though the ride. However, this posting is misleading, this is a 3rd party booking so i doesnt have all the info. This is NOT beginner friendly, NOT appropriate for all ages (OG posting says 10+). There is no giving up in the middle of the ride, you have to complete the whole ride as rescue services are by these horses only! No backpacks or hydration/camelback packs, water bottles only. You will 1000% need sunscreen, long sleeves, and a hat. Arrive 30mins early to do all your stuff and get sorted. Would recomend looking at the posting from the actual place. Its called "Thunder Mountain Ride".
The ride up and around Thunder Mountain was AMAZING! The horses were great! Views spectacular! I was disappointed with our guide! We asked many questions and he didn’t know the answers to most of them! He spent a good amount of time on his phone, and though he led us through, he did not seem interested in interacting with us! Also, the ride was advertised as FOUR hours, and total time, including drive to and from was 3 1/2! Suitable for anyone except those afraid of heights!
Dear D8403RAeileenm Thank you for sharing your experience on the Thunder Mountain Trail Ride. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the horses, the spectacular views, and the beauty of the trail itself. At the same time, we’re truly sorry to hear that your guide did not provide the level of interaction and engagement we expect from our team. Your feedback is very valuable, and we will be addressing this directly with our staff to ensure future rides are both informative and enjoyable. Regarding the ride length, our tours are advertised based on the time in the saddle, and the transportation portion sometimes shortens the total experience slightly. We’ll review our descriptions to make sure this is clearer moving forward. We hope you’ll consider riding with us again so we can provide the fully memorable adventure we strive for every time. Warm regards, Andrea Greger Manager Ruby’s Horseback Adventures
We had a great ride with Skylar, our trail guide. The predicted rain held off and it was overcast but the views were still spectacular. The trail was nice and quiet. An exciting trip for sure!
What an amazing experience!!! Breathtaking!! It was everything we hoped it would be! We had our awesome guide Jeff for both Thunder Mountain and our all day ride through Red Canyon. He took so many amazing pictures through our rides that he later shared with all of us. Also, throughout both rides he pointed out many interesting highlights and even had a few good stories to share!! Their horses were amazing, and very novice friendly! These trail rides will get you down in the riverbeds and up on the rims of the canyon that give you a completely different perspective of this beautiful scenery. Just do it!!! You will never regret it!
This is a must do!! The scenery was beautiful, amazing and scary. I only put scary, because of the heights. You must have ridden before and not be afraid of heights. This is four hours that you won’t forget! Breathtaking!!
Excellent experience. Our cowgirl was Anita and she was knowledgeable and carefully took us around Thunder mountain. WOW was that awesome. 5 guests in our group and all experienced except one who had never been on a horse. A horse named Wallin was assigned to her and between the great horse and Anita the whole experience was great. Everyone agreed that we would do it again.
By far, the most beautiful horse back riding I’ve ever done! This Thunder Mountain ride provides everything - breathtaking heights and fabulous views! Our guide, Jake, was a treasure. He shared some great stories of a lifetime of loving the great outdoors, especially with his beloved mules. The horses we rode were rock solid. This 4 hour experience is a must for riders!
