Firstly be prepared to bundle up. Lapland in Feb is cold, this was such a fun time. As a dog lover getting to see the care the team provided to the dogs and that they would make sure each team was not tired between groups was reassuring. The guide made some lovely hot dogs with warm juice or hot cocoa and was very nice. This was the highlight of my trip, the management of driving the sled wasn’t too hard and a lot of fun.
Wonderful experience. Polite and happy dogs. Fun sleigh ride with possibility to change driver halfway. Food and hot drinks very welcome and good! Absolutely recommended
Very disappointing. Was told less than 24 hours before that due to the weather, the tour was cancelled. Completely understandable as the safety of the dogs it’s important. I was told a refund would be issued - a significant amount for this tour in December. I had to continually chase this until January and it wasn’t until I opened up a case via PayPal that my refund was issued. A very stressful experience.
A super fun experience made even more special by our guide, Andrew, who introduced us to the world of dog training and built a fire for a little barbecue to warm us up after the ride!
Amazing experience, you can cuddle the huskies both before and after the tour and the ride was fantastic. The visit was a bit short, but because of the weather conditions. Staff was really friendly and available to answer to all questions. The BBQ was good (hot dog, hot chocolate and tea), but considering the price paid, they could have had more than one hot dog per person.
Dave and Lisa’s husky farm is incredible. They were perfect hosts. The organizers of the tour (Artic GM) was not very helpful and the cold hotdogs at the campfire experience was ridiculous. That being said, the husky farm and Dave more than made up for the organizers deficiencies.
Experience organized very well, sociable animals and kept very well.
The tours were amazing 😍 Natalie and Andrew are the best hosts everrrrr
If you want to have fun on the sleds with the huskies, Andrew is the perfect guide, just for his love of the Huskies and the enthusiasm he puts into this amazing event. Andrew is a true husky lover and an amazing guide! We had so much fun and learnt a lot about the dogs and their life in Lapland.
The experience was unique, the only blemole is the endless wait before doing the Husky Tour, and what I liked was the BBQ which was for me soft, compared to the price quality, they could have done better than hot dog.
